http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/mTw just announced on their website that TT1 is joining their team.
In a statement upon joining TT1 said:
"Today is a great day for me because I get to play alongside one of my good friends, Dimaga hopefully this will be the first step we take in strenghting our sc2 team, my personal aim is to make mTw one of the dominant SC2 teams and I will do my best to represent our tag to the fullest ^.^ Pls cheer me on <3
Edit: Underdark joined mTw as well (about a month ago). His statement upon joining is:
"Hello all, I am SC2 GM protoss player Underdark, I am also ex Warcraft 3 player so i know mTw since then, its a great team with huge history and i`m honored that now i got a chance to be a part of it. I will do my best to show some good results At First today i will play the Cyborg Albino Cup! Sign in the Cup and maybe you play against me See you there! "

So excited for you Payam. best of luck my friend!

I'll miss him on Fnatic but I think that him and Dimaga practicing together will help them both improve greatly.
|
About time that MTw getting some new players
|
finally, tt1 verry good, i can see him exploding and becoming one of best foreigner.
|
Sick - DIMAGA needs a good protoss partner to train with

Good luck to TT1 and MTw!

Wow did not see that one coming, gratz to TT1 and mTw
|
Congratz mTw and TT1!
btw, I just checked mTw liquipedia and their team quite small.
|
Congratulations, TT1 and mTw!
I guess it wasn`t announced anywere but another powerful ukrainian protoss Underdark joined mTw few weeks ago as he changed his clantag on the ESL page - click. The interesting fact is that he is also from Odessa city - just like White-Ra. I wonder whether there will be any official announcements about this.
Hope you all will make mTw a really loud name in sc2 scene.
|
Gratz TT1 =)

Congrats TT1, hope to see the beast within you explode!

i like the team because of dimaga, i now dislike the team because of TT1 :S
|
I wasn't sure that mTw was actualy doing anything in sc2. Always wondered why Dimaga was still there. Look like they are back into more activity in sc2, that's nice.
GL to TT1. I hope to see you defend Hydra nydus timing against FFE more :> ( just kiding ^^ )

Congrats TT1!!! I'm happy you found yourself an awesome team.

congrats to tt1 and the underdog underdark ^^
|
Gratz TT1 and mTw, glad to see them boosting their roster well.
|
Wow sick, glad to finally see mTw do some nice pickups :D
GL to both!

mTw has such a great history and was one of the biggest teams in eSports for many years. It just looks like they have financial trouble right now, even losing their great cs 1.6-team recently. This team isn't bad, but you would expect mTw to have a better sc2-team given their former success in wc3, cs etc.

hmm, wasn't mindfactory their non-pro/non-paid squad? Oo
In any case, gz both! ^_^

Congrats on your new team TT1 hope you continue to stay motivated.

Congrats to him and mTw for slowly building a team with stars again. They need a bit more known players again I only used to follow them mostly when they had DeMuslim on the team.
But congrats nevertheless.

What world do you live in?
I don't understand how chruncher and tt1 are "protoss heroes" when was last time anyone of them won a tournament? if they did ever.

Congrats Payam! I hope you enjoy your new home and hope they give you all the tools you need to grow as a player! FIGHTING! :D

well mTws lineup hasent really had any high tier players besides DIMAGA (at least since Demuslims transfer to EG), I guess this is good for mTw as an organisation since they havent really had the biggest impact on the sc2 scene. I hope they sign more players in the future.

How is he underrated? What has he done to deserve to be considered a top player?
|
There are plenty of veterans out there who haven't found their stride or much success.
When you say top players, there are only a handful of players who come to mind, especially in the form of foreigners.
I don't necessarily think underrated is the right term, but TT's definitely been around for a while.
Anyway, I wish both good luck. They need it.

Congrats TT1! An amazing practice partner in DIMAGA, and many unknown players! Good luck!

Too bad mTw released their Dutch CS team. But on the bright side, this could mean more money devoted to their SC2 team and other additions.

How is this community news? It baffles me how TL chooses what makes the cut for community news and what doesn't. If MajOr joining CheckSix (a player who has RECENTLY had great results by making the championship bracket at Providence and making Blizzcon) doesn't get his own news granted then why does TT1 who has shown ABSOLUTELY NOTHING lately?
Players more deserving to get their posts bumped to community news but who didn't:
MajOr, Tgun, Elfi off the top of my head.

Elfi easily top 5 foreign Protoss if not better, winDy is a big name pickup for a lesser known team in SC2, tgun is an investment from a team into a whole other continent...I truly have no idea. There was that weekly player transfer (or was it monthly?) thread, maybe just keep these things purely in those threads.

You better not be the same Charlieso from Cursed (CS 1.6 team based out of SoCal).
Major does not join a new team every month. It seems like it because of the circumstances but in SC2 MajOr has switched teams twice. That's as many times as, wait for it... HuK. I will agree with the Elfi argument but definitely not Tgun. I find Tgun more notable than TT1 especially regarding the past few months.

Yea basically all mTw.MF teams were cheaters lol, I still remember the huge boom that involved mTw.CSS and then mTw.CoD4, pretty good teams indeed, too bad they were good on online cups only, and then they got caught and they admited everything.
Sc2 has nothing to do with that but mTw has a bad reputation in EU for sure...
Good luck to TT1, I thought he was some kind of semi-pro but apparently he is not.

I'm interested to see what the time off has done for TT1. Whether it's made hum hungry enough or not to really put in the time or not is yet to be seen. Given that this was the reason (well one of them anyway) for leaving Fnatic, he'd better be. I guess it's a decent acquisition for a team like mTw who honestly aren't doing a whole lot at the moment outside of having Dimaga on their team. But I have to come back to the fact that TT1 still has to prove whether or not he's going to make good on his word and put in the time and effort to be one of the better players again.

mTw becoming a "top team" is still gonna be dependant on a. DIMAGA actually going to tournaments (granted he has visa issues, but the biggest thing holding him back is how few tourneys he gets to) b. Don't understand how everyone has forgotten how much of a racist TT1 can be, physically threatening people over Battle.Net and freely using the term 'gook' in an e-sports scene that's heavily invested in Korea and other Asian countries?

Jesus man, young adults and teens do stupide shit. Its so many years ago they have allrdy payed for it. Are you telling me you never done anything stupide? Or are you perfect?

Gratz to TT1 & mTw, about time they got some good new players.

wow, kinda unexpected. I was always wondering why dimaga is still im mTw since aside from him there haven't been any top players at that team. well good for TT1 and dimage I guess

got any source for that? I've never heard anything like that from him and I'd like to know more about it

Congratulations Underdark and TT1!
Underdark is a really strong and mannered player, chatted with him and played against him like 3 times in online cups.

User was warned for this post Fuck you dude, seriously that was how long ago? Grats TT1! Big fan here, and can't WAIT to see what you and dimaga can do together! Cheaters never change. ... -_- Are you seriously saying that TT1 and Dimaga would and possibly have cheated again so far in SC2? TT1 got his fair load of shit from everybody in the community when it was found out he was cheating. His account got permabanned, and he was basically excommunicated. Im saying you are 100% WRONG, especially concering Dimaga who made a 1 time mistake during TSL that he seriously paid for. I highly highly doubt he would ever do anything like that again. Your post is really off base.

Congrats to both parties!

Kind of hard to give someone respect after they were caught maphacking Specially when it's a mediocre player such as TT1
Nevertheless, good luck

JJH777: "I'm saying that if the opportunity presents itself again they will. Maybe they already have who knows." bgx: "wow you are shallow, i believe if the opportunity presents itself you will respond with your shallowness again" People being suspicious and wanting others to be aware of the possibility, while not assuming that the people have repeated their errors, is perfectly fine and justified; certainly nothing to do with being "shallow". It would be more to do with not wanting to be ignorant of the possibility and hoping others would not also. I don't think either has repeated their errors and I'm right behind Dimaga in his efforts, but I don't understand how people can feel justified in criticising sceptics and calling them bad people or "shallow". "Im saying you are 100% WRONG" <- Why even say things like this when you're not that exact person, so you cannot know with 100% certainty, even if you can believe it entirely? Good luck TT1 and MtW, also to Underdark, who I've seen people play against on streams and had seemed like a good, unnoticed protoss. Can we get a Liquipedia entry for him, too? *Goes to see if anyone bothered to make a thread for the lesser known player.*

"Underdark ist den meisten Leuten in der StarCraft 2 Szene schon ein Begriff, denn er war neben AiHonor einer der erfolgreichsten Spieler im Clan Ai."
As far as i know Underdark was never part of our team

That was Spades. There was a big reddit thread about it. He said it to Hwangsin I believe.

Players more deserving to get their posts bumped to community news but who didn't:
MajOr, Tgun, Elfi off the top of my head.

once a cheater, always a cheater.
who cares if it was long ago? He was busted, caught with his pants down, and it's not like he came clean with it. No, just admitted to it after people caught him in the act.
PFfft no respect

this once a cheater always a cheater quote is so retarded since he has proved in over a year and in many lans that he does not cheat, even before in broodwar when he placed high in the TSL he didn't cheat for a long time.

I totally missed this news. I'm glad over it though, mTw has suffered so many losses regarding players, TT1 will be a nice addition to the team. Best of luck to TT1 and the team!
