(the 240p wasn't a great representation of what the video will look like) 480p looks pretty decent on a smartphone... I mean... 4 inch screens wont really handle 1080p very well (well a few could - but in general this is plenty) Keep us updated And good luck (^_^) Any idea 'bout what you'll take for this? Free? Android market for money? What's your plans?

By the way, one of the biggest reasons I don't watch stuff on my android phone through the TL site manually is because the justin.tv player is really hard to use on a phone. Maybe you could customize it a bit/ let everything be hidden til you press the options button then you can change settings. I'm looking into how to do this. At the moment I cant see a feasible way to do it though. maybe possible with some crazy work around but would probably play up with something else in the process. I'll keep looking into it though! The main issues I have at the moment is to bring the application into a useable state with 100% core functionality. I'll begin to refine the application once the final release is closer.

To be honest I'm not sure, I think it was because he changed the name to Teevox so he took it off the app store. Not sure why its not back on though.

I used it 100% for BW, but you could watch any stream actually since the Viewer activity was just a webviewer pointing to a .php file which would receive through POST the channel name/id and load the embedded channel. Looking from the screens you posted seems like you did something similar. One problem that I found is that on really crappy devices the flash would leak/bug out sometimes and the viewer activity would shutdown unexpectedly, but I never got the chance to try out on decent Android devices, so not sure if its a flash thing or just my bad code :/ Your app looks pretty neat :D

I'll be doing extensive testing on a range of handsets soon enough. I'll keep you posted ![]()
