On my Transformer Prime tablet I am able to open the application (themes do not work for me btw), but when I actually click on a stream I get an "Initializing Stream :[streamname]" toast notification but the screen is just black and it never starts the video. I don't know if you've tested this on tablets at all but I would love it if this app worked on tablets. I haven't tested on tablets sadly, thats why I have it on the market now . Thanks for letting me know though. I'm not sure why themes wouldnt work though, thats all native android stuff.. Ill check out your tablet specs now

Also, in regards to tablets, some people have reported positive results on tablets. I'm almost sure it should work though and I'll likely need to get my hands on a tablet to do some testing of my own to get it working . Luckily I know someone with an Asus Transformer, so I may be able to get something sorted in regards to that ![]()

I have the new Transformer (the one with the quad core processor) so perhaps there's something different going on with that. Also, it currently has honeycomb on it. Have any of the other tablets tested been running Honeycomb or are they running Froyo?

I might download it to test it out on my device when i get home and am connected to WiFi (stupid tiered verizon data plans >_<). A lot of people have been reporting a black screen on the stream sadly with the Nexus :/, but I'd be interested to know if you get it to work!

All Nexus users are reporting the same thing dude, sorry. Will try and get a hold of one of these phones and figure it out EDIT: My cousin has the Nexus S (bought new yesterday). He had some initial poblems but a reinstall fixed all problems he was having. I don't understand the situation entirely though. If it means anything he is running 4.03. What are the specifics of your Nexus? (android version etc)

This time when I went to download it though I noticed a warning in the Market that said "This application is not compatible with your device". That lead me to thinking about the Android SDKs. I was wondering if you have all of the latest SDKs updated in your development environment? (I'm an Android developer at work btw) Perhaps updating the SDKs and using a later compiler would help some of the people who can't run it? Everyone having issues seems to have newer devices. I'll give it a shot! Thanks for your help. By "more up to date" sdks, do you mean setting minsdk to a higher level in the manifest or do you mean setting a higher build target when compiling? at the moment minsdk is at 4, reduced from 8 to try and deal with these problems. I really cant see it being this though, the rest of the app works, right? Why would it just be the stream view? Have you tried watching a stream on the twitch website?
