1. Stop responding to "bonjwa?" posts because they're fucking stupid. 2. Flash loses to randoms too. In starleagues even. So while I don't think there should be any SC2 "bonjwa" discussion, your argument sucks anyway.

Even Flash during his "dominant" era's finished 2nd in a couple of tournaments besides his golds. He has so many major tournament wins, 8 golds and 3 silvers is pretty damn impressive. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Mvp_(player)MVP has a 70% win ratio for International + Korean tournament games counted, with a total of 216-217 games. I think this is by far the best ratio per game numbers out of anyone (actually, Stephano's is pretty impressive, though you'd have to admit there is a difference in the players they have played against). It's close to a year now, and if he wins MLG Providence then I will have no doubt he is the first.... Though I suppose some people will want him to dominate for longer than a year before calling him in the "b" word.
Yeah Flash's "dominance" was kind of shabby. I mean out of the 6 major tournaments in Korea that year he only won 4 while getting 2 silvers... for a sc2 player to reach Flash's status in bw he would have to win a shitload of tournaments in a row.
Still MVP is the favorite in Providence while being the most dominant player currently. Nevertheless, he still needs to show solid performances for a while until he can be considered a bonjwa.

holy shit
Thats all i can say.

Koreans coming out in force.
NA mustering every player they've got.
European stars staying at home.

MLG did an amazing job courting the Koreans and getting them to participate in this. They somehow have to manage the same for the Europeans. More incentives, more rewards, something.
I glance at the top 5 non-Korean players in the TLPD sidebar and am sad that no one is there at MLG.

Most definitely. I will take vacation days from work to watch as much of this as humanly possible. This is destined to be THE MOST EPIC TOURNAMENT EVER!!
+ Show Spoiler + Unless they have lag/connection issues =( that would suck

MVP can't even lick Oov/Nada/Boxer's shoes in terms of their true dominance, regardless of their current level in SC2. Let me give you a hint. Bonjwas are decided when everyone collectively agrees that the person is bonjwa, regardless of stats. Or else Jaedong, JulyZerg, and tons of other players would have achieved "bonjwa" status already, but they have not.

1. You just did o.o. I'll do what I want, thanks. 2. No, because in BW winning is much more consistent, while in SC2 winning is less consistent but those who win win a LOT more than the 60-70% ish that bonjwas have in BW.
I like how you argue, and then say that someone else's argument sucks. He lost in that Starleague after he got bonjwa status, so that doesn't count.
Of course, all these numbers don't mean much since everyone looks at them differently, for example who they play against, taking stats only from certain tournies ("important" ones), etc.
