What about Stephano who just won 30k $ and demolished HuK without any problems?
well I personally don't think Stephano > Huk, Idra :/ I think they are on the even level or Huk and Idra are slightly better cuz they've been displaying good games much longer than Stephano.
AND
is Stephano even coming to MLG Providence? He sure doesn't get a seed.

Oh wait knocked out by a code B player but hey I'm sure he faced some top tier talent at IPL, you know ryung, ret, MMA wait I'm thinking of FXO lucky but hey he beat STC ,violet a pair of code B players and inori you know the guy who reached RO8 via PvP? I like stephano he's a great player with a great style but wow his fanboys overhype him his IPL 3 was just as much lucky killing all the absolute best of the best than him beating them
I know you are trying to prove a point... but why are you undermining Stephano's feat? It was nothing shy of amazing. He even had to scrap his way through the qualifiers. I don't know why you are hating on people just because they are "code B". By those standards IdrA is code B as well...

imo stephano>huk, idra needs to play more to prove himself.

There is no way foreigners will win next mlg now
|
The best players deserve to play in the best tournaments. Great news they are being sent around the world, the amount of work they put into the game - they goddamn deserve it.
Its these kinds of things that will tempt the top BW players, seeing other koreans travel around the world, seeing Spain, France, US, Germany etc and making money and enjoying your fame is pretty damn awesome for a bunch of people playing "teh vidyagaemz".
|
This will undoubtedly be the most important tournament for foreigners to date. If a foreigner (westerner?) wins this, I will fucking lose it.
|
Haha, there's gonna be a big at the next MLG, eagerly anticipating these big boys on the world stage again
|
The winner and the runner-up in the tournament have just been announced, if they don't meet earlier in the bracket.
|
|
IM 1-2, u better getting get practising foreigners :/

I find it funny that you guys mention MVP being most prone to fatigue when, at Anaheim he came trough the open bracket remaining undefeated in any match then crushed trough MMA in the final.
NesTea being old doesn't affect his play, age isn't such a big factor in video games as it is in physical sports, and are you seriously calling him old at only 29 years of age?
Another fun fact NesTea and MVP where both A team players, they where trained to go for hours and hours of games without breaking a sweat, MVP already demonstrated MLG open bracket was nothing for him. I wouldn't expect the open bracket to claim MVP and NesTea as victims.
As for Stephano being better then HuK. I'd say Stephano is better since the defeated HuK in straight up play at IPL 3 and he did it in very convincing fashion 2-0 after he even let HuK get Colossus, Carrier and Void Ray. I'll not comment on IdrA vs Stephano since they haven't played directly as of yet, at least not recently.
