Is it really that hard to figure out...?

Hey hey... I don't know about you, but this is something that I have not seen before in any sc tourney. I think "woah" is more appropriate that "duh" here!

Clide and Killer both dropped out? I hope it's not because TSL is low on money and can't afford to send them. Wouldn't surprise me though. As far as international tournaments go TSL has been by far the biggest undernon-achiever amongst Korean teamsever since Puma defected. Alive keeps losing to foreigners. JYP and Revival got owned by EG at IEM Guangzhou. (P)Killer wasn't even the best (Z)KiLLeR at IEM New York. Polt went to MLG Orlando and nobody even noticed. Hard to justify sending players overseas if they're not gonna bring home some goodies.

Clide is fighting for his Code S life at the moment, as is Killer. They probably just decided it'd be better to rest at home and practice for their important upcoming matches instead of jetsetting to the other side of the world and being in potentially bad shape when they got back.

I guess that would also explain MC's deal. Still, I hate it when players drop out aaaaaargggg.

Btw, what's the deal with DeMuslim? They won't let him into Sweden either, huh. May be he should change his ID.

Some awesome players are there. But also many awesome players are missing, will be still a good tournament though.

Sad to se how many of the koreans that decided to skip this tournament. Was really exited to se Clide since there have been a lot of talk about him (Artisos love for him) so it sucks that he wont come. MC i can forgive since he has been to many of the DH events this year. I wonder why Demuslim wont come though. It's a 2hr flight from UK to Sweden ...
The lack of the "best of the best" will make this tournament interesting. Now players that are not the absolute best will have a greater chance of winning some money and i think that is a good sign for esports.

My guess would be that he's already in Korea training for the up/down matches? But I could be wrong ofc

As nice it is as a fan to have Dreamhack right after MLG, I do feel it's one of the main reasons why so many Koreans and some other foreigners are missing. With the tight schedule for international tournaments and the GSL there's just not much room for everything.

Just for fun I guess. I know this is used in of other real sports like cycling and skeeing to be displayed for the viewers pleasure. I probably wouldn't like it as a player but as a viewer I think it can be fun. Who is feeling stressed or who is calm as ever during the most intense moments in the game. I also think dreamhack used this in previous tournaments if my memory serves me right.

Maybe they got the idea from Dota 2, "The International" (the tournament with 1.7 million $ prizepool) had it, and as far as I can remember that's the only time I've seen it in esports.

I don't get why they would focus on this small local tournament (GSL) instead of going at this big international one (Dreamhack)
