The lack of the "best of the best" will make this tournament interesting. Now players that are not the absolute best will have a greater chance of winning some money and i think that is a good sign for esports. | ||

I know this is used in of other real sports like cycling and skeeing to be displayed for the viewers pleasure. I probably wouldn't like it as a player but as a viewer I think it can be fun. Who is feeling stressed or who is calm as ever during the most intense moments in the game. I also think dreamhack used this in previous tournaments if my memory serves me right. | ||

Maybe they got the idea from Dota 2, "The International" (the tournament with 1.7 million $ prizepool) had it, and as far as I can remember that's the only time I've seen it in esports. | ||
