Am I the only person who noticed a tournament with a Bo7 Finals and Bo5's allowing vetos from each player only has 6 maps in their map pool? :/

MC, HasuObs, TT1, DeMusliM, Killer and Clide have unfortunately for different reasons canceled their participation at DreamHack Winter 2011.

God damn... I can understand non europeans not wanting to travel but I was really expecting DeMusliM to show up to this...

So they can measure how stressed or "excited" they are playing infront of 4000 ppl in the crowd. Just like they do with pokerplayers on tv you can see how their pulse is changing when they are bluffing etc.

I'm hoping either Stephano, HuK, or NaNiWa wins it all.

EDIT: Stephano will be at a disadvantage, he can't pick pink. Player colors have to be red/blue XD

I wouldnt believe that tbh^^

I dont understand why people are complaining about the line up, even players who are not so known are usually really really good when they attend such a tournament. Also how should new faces ever make it to the top if we have tournaments only inviting Idra, Dimaga etc.

No doubt to shove an EKG up on screen at a tense moment for the player

Yeah lol, it seems like the finals don't allow vetoes but they're 1 map short for both the bo5 + vetos and the bo7...

There will be quakelive and street fighter finals also, so not only SC2 games!

Thank you. That clears things up a bit.

Ohhh Cliiide not coming Bit sad for group I, seems very strong. I want to see Happy break out at a tournament but will be tough in that group. Stephano's group looks strong as well, but still overall its looking nice, can't wait!

Lol tiebreakers could be fun, if three players were all 2-1 in a group on all criteria you could have many many bo1 tiebreakers! Obviously I doubt it would happen but man would that be tense...

----

Tiebreakers
● The groups are decided in the following order: points, maps +/-, internal match. In case
of a three-way-tie of the previous criteria internal maps +/- will decide.
● Would this not separate the players and determine the group. The players will play a tiebreaker of BO1 against each other. The first match-up will be randomly drawn and tiebreakers will continue until the group is decided
