Although it's rather flawed to judge a player based on ladder rank on any other server, ladder ranks on KR do tend to have quite a bit of weight to them. Quite a few top-level Korean players used to be ladder beasts on KR before having impressive performances in GSL. MKP usually has an account or two in the top ranks of KR, and his old account "BoxeR" was pretty high up in the ladder before he made his GSL2 debut. DRG used to be first on the KR ladder for a while, and it was only a matter of time before he started tearing up in GSTL and now GSL. Similar things can be said about Puzzle and Bomber, who had very high-ranked ladder accounts before making their way in GSL. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before forGG makes it into Code S, and I look forward to his debut despite the fact that there are already so many Terrans in GSL. Perhaps he might Royal Road his way through the prelims, Code A, and Code S tournaments? | ||

I loved Forgg on KT and think he will more than likely become a top terran alongside MVP if he puts his full effort into it. I think it's better he retired and then took a whole year to practice before joining a team. He's shown on the ladder that he has immense talent and understanding of the game already, so put him with Nada, TOP and Supernova and watch him grow. I expect Polt-like timing attacks with the macro of TOP. Someone who I can see challenging MVP and Nestea for best player in the world. It isn't a situation like Yellow who retired and then practiced for only a month. Forgg has retired, taken a whole year, and could already have talent to knock off most players in the world. I can't wait to see him in the GSL. I feel bad for anyone he meets in the qualifiers. | ||
