He was beating players from ROOT and Fnatic and he didn't even know basic game info, like that banshees could get cloak or things like that at the time. He could basically outmacro everyone he played, play SC1-style Terran and win. With practice partners from TSL I would not be shocked if he became a top foreigner.

Unfortunately, your opinion is the one that's "neglectable". MajOr/Terran will continue to be a great player regardless of what your opinion of him may be. TSL thinks he's good enough for him to join the team full-time.
I understand he may be a little immature or bad mannered, but give credit where it's due.

He'll be gone in 3 months. When will teams learn..
I will quote myself in 3 months (or less) as proof. I like TSL in general. Uh...good luck. :/

I think that this is the best for Major. It's a given that he will get top notch training that any pro needs, but what will benefit him the most I think is that he will be held accountable for all of his actions. There would be no barrier between him and his team so I think that will be the end to his floppy behavior and shenanigans.
Also he is so amazingly awkward I want to give that guy a hug.

I hope he does really good in Korea despite all the drama that has come from him in the past, why may you ask? Because he is a "foreigner" and we should never not support any foreigners no matter what, because we have to stick together to become better than koreans ! lol :-D

Seriously. How many chances is this guy going to get....... I don't even understand.
Well...goodluck to TSL and Major.. hopefully he can fill the gap of Puma.

Well hopefully he stays with tsl for longer than he has with other teams. He respects koreans so i think it will work out.

Major hasn't been the best teammate, but out of any team in the world, TSL is probably the best place. It's a small team and has a very family feel to it. Artosis has said on multiple occasions that Major is "socially retarded" and needs help. TSL seems like a close knit squad with a lot of friendly members that will help Major get over the whole awkward issue. Maybe he'll start learning Korean, making new friends, and getting out of his shell. It'll be his first time actually living with his team and having to face them when doing something wrong. If he does something BM or messes up, Lee will be right there to be on his ass.
Also, my friends, we are forgetting the biggest thing in this whole equation: Major has to wear the TSL pants.

Wow, this is ridiculous... And cant believe ppl are -again - cheering for him... Hate it tbh.
PS: ELO obv suxx

For all the baggage that major brings if you've ever watched any of his games you can just see the potential oozing out of this guy. When he first came onto the scene I saw some of his play and wasn't at all impressed. He wasn't on a well known team yet and a few months later after he'd join sixjax i watched him again and was thoroughly impressed.
His improvement was substantial and you could tell he works hard at getting better. Until this last MLG (which he didn't attend) he was significantly improving after every single tournament and that was mostly just training online. Now that he's in an official house with a good coach I can only see his play skyrocket.

Gotta love Artosis and how much he has faith in his friend. Really hope he and Major can make it work in Korea.

haha like the first NaDa SC2 footage - him playing versus IdrA: as the Broodlords were destroying his whole army he looked puzzled into the camera because he didn't know what was happening ^_^.

I hate to come off as an ass but there is no way to word this without it. Major isn't just BM or immature. He's a cheat, he has no allegiance to any team he's been on. And he's done quite well at shitting on every team he's been on after he leaves He doesn't deserve it despite the raw talent he has. I'd be happier sending my Silver league friend to Korea to train in TSL than for him to go.
As someone said in the early pages of the thread, perhaps the language barrier between him and the Korean players will be an advantage for him since they might not know exactly the things he's saying. He will screw this up like he has everything else. There are hundreds of other players that deserve this chance before Major does...I'll always root for TSL but never for him. He's just..poison.

What do you mean??

The biggest change ot the equation is that Major is in Korea. That is pretty much what he's been aiming for since his Broodwar days, and all the drama about him switching teams has often been related to the support he's been getting (or lack thereof) in terms of his aim to go to Korea.
Now that he's in Korea he might start being slightly more serious.
|
MajOr, you are a SUPER lucky guy that you have been given so many chances. This is pretty much your last shot because it has always been your dream to play in Korea. Artosis has done and put so much faith into you.
|
I really hope that he is grateful for this epic opportunity. Maybe this will keep him from acting out so much!
