Idra is an extremely like-able and marketable personality in the scene.
Major is almost universally loathed/hated.
You do the math champ.

congrats to sixjax gaming for taking this decision. There's a lot more problems than just the lack of professionalism among some players. Sure we have Maj0r or IdrA who are notorious for their horrible mannerisms and poor sportsmanship, but so does any sport. It's not just E-Sports that has players who act like (pardon the language, but it's really the best word) utter douche-bags. Is SK.Swarm raging at his teammate [spoiler]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rAtlp2dDPU really any worse than the way Terrell Owens acts towards his teammates. I'm an Eagles fan and I remember back when we were doing well Owens was acting like an absolute prick. But as far as grown men acting childishly about their contracts with teams, if you think that's something exclusively found in E-Sports than you must be crazy. EDIT: I didn't even realize that there was any debate over Maj0r being similar to IdrA. IdrA acts more childishly towards his opponents whereas Maj0r just has a serious problem with authority. Both are really big problems, but they are a bit different. You don't hear stories about IdrA cheating, but you also don't hear as many stories about Maj0r BMing the crap out of his opponent. They're both BM, but still very different.
Wow, I had know idea who Swarm was, and now because of 30 seconds of video I am a Swarm anti-fan for life.

nicely handled by sixjax. and lol@major.guess not much more to say here ~
/edit that swarm guy is insane. deserves a nice happy punch in the face to shut him up.

see? now if idra and fenix would fuse, whatever comes out of it, let's call it fedra, will be dragged through the mud as well.

Well, honestly after hearing about these actions, its probably for the best that he was left go. I doubt he would have changed or even played well if he remained on the team.

Man, its almost like Major didn't have a history of acting like a spoiled child.

What I learned from this thread: -People will find any chance they can to insult Idra. -Artosis has skype. -dde is a nice dude. -Misinformation is a-okay. -Juan has skype.

seriously, just ban Major from the SC2 community and teamliquid, like CombatEZ. We don't need scum people like this here. After his previous track record, he'll do anything just to get ahead or make himself look better...

Some things never change. Good luck to sixjax and majOr

Idra isn't an ass to his team that makes them entirely different. Idra gets mad because he knows he can do better while major just lashes out at everyone if he doesn't get his way so they are not the same at all. His behavior might be different but it is still pretty bad. And it isn't just his team that he lashes out at, he seems to constantly insult many other players

And thats ok. We each have our favorite personalities in the scene.

rofl you just said idra dont get any hate? idra gets hate in every thread on here for some reason. Soon as a thread gets to +50 pages idras name pops up like jack-in-box :D

IdrA is just the same as Major, just b/c he's the zerg's voice, whining for them so he has so many supporters. I don't like Major after reading the update anymore.

If you don't see how much more Idra brings to his team, his sponsors and the community in general... I'm not even sure we live on the same planet.

was trying to figure out what game they were playing since it didn't seem very APM intensive and found out it was WoW lol

major should just give up gaming when he thinks that he can get whatever he wants only because he has great potential.
For exsample, there are tons of extremly skilled football players in europe, but about 80% dont make into professional football because they are arrogant and dont have any discipline. So is in sc2.

Right, but idra has the largest fanclub in TL, a ton of twitter followers, and one of the highest watched streams on TL. Oddly enough, this situation is almost the same as when he left root. And if what sixjax says is true, I don't see how major thinks he will survive in korea, there are lots of korean pro's who are better than him yet do not ask for a raise after a mediocre performance at an MLG.

Spoiled child... nothing more. Major got all he wanted as a child. Nothing has prepared him for what is going on right now. He's doing what he pleases without thinking about the consequences. When the brutal mature world calls for answers, he just lies, rages etc, just like kiddo who cries out loud if momma won't buy him candy. That's all...
IdrA is also like that, but at least he has some intellect and logic to work with...
