The reality is everyone in this thread is making judgements, and commenting their opinion why would anyone not be entitled to do so, you single me out merely because you dissagree. Im obviously somewhat biased because of the SEA Tournament incident. Still its definately irritating to know that if that SEA tournament was european, korean, or maybe even NA tournament, there would have been far more consequences, with major almost certainly being banned from competing in some tournaments as a result. But there was no consequences because half the people on tl didn't care or even applauded Major for it, because to them SEA is just trash anyways right? Really, what did Major get from that at the time, a harsh talking to from Artosis? seriously.

Seems like SJG was holding him back if anything, but thats just from the small text that I've read. Holding him back? Don't get me wrong, he's a pretty decent player, but he's not even their top player. Also his reputation will surely make getting into another team difficult, if possible. I don't really see any other team picking him up, SJG was probably his last stop for a while at 'big' teams.

Seriously, some of you act as if SixJax were "obliged" to finance him a Korea-trip. most other top teams are sending their best players to korea to train, why wouldnt Sixjax be interested in investing in the skill development of their players? He is their best player as well he certainly has deserved a shot at code A. Sixjax just seems to be cheaping out a bit, they didnt even send any of their players to the last MLG , and artosis was even there , would have been a good opportunity for the players to meet with their coach.

I dread to think of how a different team is going to handle his attitude - maybe in a few years time he'll chill a bit.

Although i dont agree with his actions i can understand where he is coming from, Sixjax keeps saying they are about to secure a deal and it keeps falling through so Major takes the initiative to find a team to let him stay at their training house and Sixjax still says no, all he needed was a plain ride , food and board would have been provided by NSHS. If major wasnt so young he should have done the smart thing and tried to make sure he got something in his contract saying that they would send him to korea in the coming months, regardless though he breached his contract with a few (minor id say) misconducts so they have every right to deny him the requests (even if they promised it to him) and give him the boot. Maybe Artosis knows something about NSHS that Major doesn't. Maybe Sixjax knows that there are other teams that would be wiling partners, but they are doing they're due diligence and trying to create a partnership with the best team possible. Maybe they are trying to find room and board not just for one selfish person, but their whole team. There's possibly a lot of good reasons why Sixjax is taking "so long" to form a complex business deal with a foreign team. Of course, I've pretty sure it's been less than six months.

If I say to a team I plan on going to Korea to improve and they say we'll get you a ticket to Korea, I think it's safe to say I'd expect a ticket to Korea.

The problem here is that Major says there was a promise, but I would have thought that if it was that important to him they would have contracted it. This is a business and whether or not it was "promised", which is heresay at this point, it appears to not have been contracted. If Korea was his concern from the start, then he should have demanded that when negotiating. Apart from what is in the contract, he cannot expect much more and they have no obligation to give much more.

Looking at this situation with SJ and Major with the limited information we have available there are only a few conclusions which can be drawn. Either Major has recently commited some terrible act which would force SJ to terminate and we are not fully informed about it. Or, Major is aware that he is too large a talent to be benched by a team not having the resources to send him to domestic tournaments never mind Korea. Honestly if a team cant even send one representative to a large tournament like MLG then they are not a legitimate professional team unless there are some extenuating circumstances.

One thing is obvious: Major had an expectation from Sixjax that they would. There's only two ways this can turn out: 1) Sixjax did promise as much. Then they reneged, and Major decided to part ways with the team as a result. 2) Sixjax didn't "officially" promise as much. Despite this, Major had the expectation that they would. When it became clear otherwise, he decided to part ways with the team. In either scenario, Major made an appropriate decision.

When Major/Terran/Princess strikes that optimal balance of professionalism and skill he is going to be the next big thing imo. Thats only Major's side of the story. Who knows if he is telling the truth. Thats why you shouldn't blame anyone or say things before any confirmation/announcement..
