it's coming from 2 players that witnessed it and one was a victim of it.
I know no one got sued or anything but this completely changes my view of sixjax gaming. I don't want to support a team that treats their players like that and IMO people should know about it.
and if it comes out to be false then that's serious too. Accusations like that can't just go unnoticed

There's obviously several in this thread that knows about sixjax more than what's released to the public. I'd love it if a sixjax management come in and say the accusation that sixjax threats players with legal suits are unfound.
While legal, suits and threats of suits are always last-resort. It's bad business, and those companies that uses it as a leverage not only is abusing the court, but also won't last very long in any industry (unless in the legal one). You don't make many friends being trigger happy. There's always better, more amicable alternatives to suits and threats of suits. The second-to-last example is usually the breach-of-contract clause in every reasonable written contract, where there's a dollar amount both sides agreed to as the price of disintegrating the contract.

Yea, maybe it's not their place to. Sixjax isn't the only one to blame though, but with the recent incidents it just solidifies how fucking little they care. And here's a free shirt with our retarded ass logo to go with it so you can brag about doing something and not getting paid for it!" Oh and even though we don't do shit for you, if you try to leave we'll ruin you and your family's life (nah that part had to be made up right?) ESPORTS! I don't know much about your history with sixjax because I don't really follow this stuff, not too much, but you CANNOT make claims like "Oh and even though we don't do shit for you, if you try to leave we'll ruin you and your family's life" without something serious to back it up. It's pretty irresponsible/drama-inciting with little to no factual information behind it. Either elaborate more on this or stay out of these kinds of threads. I'm pretty sure being sued is ruining yours and your family's life. I'm pretty sure you're 14 years old and $500 sounds like an incredible sum of money to you, but being sued is not ruining someone's life. Please, if you have no idea what you're talking about, refrain from making these kinds of comments. There's NO possible way that a contract that involves a $300/month salary and free travel to "some" paid events would ever result in someone getting sued for a life-changing amount of money. Just because it sounds life-changing to someone in high school doesn't mean it would ruin someone's life. Major was given salary and sent to events. The K might stip. that if breached he'd have to pay back some salary + what it cost sj to send him to events. Could be plenty of ks. You make quite a bit of cash, but to Major and his family 3-5k might be huge. Now, whether that penalty would hold up in court would be a whole nother issue. But fighting it would probably cost even more. first off, if major doesn't have anything to be sued for, he won't get sued. if he breached his contract, he should be aware of the consequences. If not, then he knows of it now and should fix it asap.
secondly, it doesn't mean they cannot solve the issue outside the court. A lot of cases are fixed outside the court where both party comes in agreement. The company doesn't want to get a bad reputation as well.
thirdly, if he did what was deserved to be sued for, he has no one to blame

Before you make a negative post insulting the guy just because you dislike him and there's a bunch of other bandwagoning assholes behind you remember this: He is putting 100% into this game and practicing his fucking heart out for the chance to fulfill his dreams. Yeah he's made some mistakes in the past but nothing that deserves the amount of hate launched at him. I'm just glad his sheer amount of determination and love of the game has helped him keep working towards his goals. Other people when faced with this much negativity might have given up ages ago.
Good luck man you're one skilled mother fucker. <3 Elementary fallacy. How does "putting 100%" and practicing "his fucking heart out" have anything to do with his immature behaviour, which others (including sj) has rightfully pointed out? Nothing.

Oh and even though we don't do shit for you, if you try to leave we'll ruin you and your family's life (nah that part had to be made up right?) ESPORTS! thanks for the explanation Give me a fucking break. First of all, if they aren't paying for you to go to MLG, they can't afford to hire a lawyer to sue you in the first place. Second of all, you probably can't get sued because there are a ton of ways to get out of it. Third, and this is probably most important of all, the only reason they would ever sue you is for damages. These damages would have to cover the amount of money they use to sue you (hiring a lawyer that they can't afford) and not to mention, you would have to have money in the first place. Given that you are all gamers playing 9-5 for months on end (as mentioned in your post), I doubt you have any fucking money whatsoever. So therefore "lol not a single player would be on Sixjax right now if they weren't afraid of being sued" is a fucking load of shit. Walk away from the clan if you feel like it, seriously. You are assuming that they can't afford to send people to MLG as opposed to WON'T send people there, big difference. In other words, they most likely do have the money to spend, they just don't want to spend it unless they needed to, eg legal action. Trust me... even if this ever went to being sued. Nobody would win. No one has to win, depending on how the contracts are written they defiantly would have the legal right to sue you as a player if you tried to leave your contract. Of course no one would win but it would come down to loss of money. A company that makes tons of money vs a gamer who makes very little. The company could make life very difficult for a gamer due to this. You seem to be under the impression that sixjax has money. I'm sorry ^_^. Please find one piece of information that says they dont. The part where this is empty. http://sixjaxgaming.com/page/sponsor sixjax is the company that sponsors the team. similar to FXOpen sponsoring team FXO. They have money sixjax.com is the sponsor O_o
Just so you all know.. the term "so sue me" doesn't exist just because someone from a movie said it. It exists because its literally hard and 90% of the time, its not worth the trouble. People get sued everyday. The courts are backed up with thousands of claims every single day in the United States. Ranging from marriage settlements (oh shit that can actually ruin someone's life) to million dollar law suits on intellectual infringement.
If you think sixjax is going to sue some 14 year old nerd that can't get a normal job to pay for his own MLG trips, you are probably just as young and naive as said kid from clan sixjax, or you don't even have the slightest clue how the world works.

Major is a dick. He acts like a spoiled, bratty, child and has broken his contract multiple times and as a result is removed from the team, I don't see a problem here?
Just look at his reaction to Evoli's post in the OP, he can't even put in the fucking effort to spell words correctly in something so serious how can he be expected to act professional?
At the end of the day a player like Major is being payed to represent the company that sponsors him, now I don't know about you guys but personally I wouldn't pay someone to make me look like a fucking joke.

Honestly, I can't pick out the sides here and find out whos the person that were doing the wrong and the right.

From what we can tell, Major is not getting sued.
What did happen though, is skew came out and wrote that sixjax plays dirty and threatens suits against players that wishes to leave the team. Afterwards, Major backed up skew's claim. Since then, it's a wasteful argument (which I admit to be part of) whether a breach of contract between pro-gamers and management case has any place in the court.
Frankly, what worries me is that the threat comes up in first place (after all, TL is not a court of law and has no real legal expertise on board). That really should be something that need to be clarified.

Very true, there's no way sixjax could enforce specific performance on Major's contract.
However there is potentially a possibility, because Major is still a minor (lol) and his mom signed the contract, that they could find liability with his mother.

Honestly, how can this surprise anyone? Major acts like a immature spoiled piss ant, look at his track record.. hopefully this idiot won't get signed by another team and he'll learn that there's more to starcraft/business than being a "good" player.
