I'd just like to add in my support to major and his efforts. It's pretty sad to see such a large chunk of the community take any opportunity that they can to shit all over a player. Especially considering the extremely unprofessional way in which sixjax announced this and the other shady shit surrounding them.
Before you make a negative post insulting the guy just because you dislike him and there's a bunch of other bandwagoning assholes behind you remember this: He is putting 100% into this game and practicing his fucking heart out for the chance to fulfill his dreams. Yeah he's made some mistakes in the past but nothing that deserves the amount of hate launched at him. I'm just glad his sheer amount of determination and love of the game has helped him keep working towards his goals. Other people when faced with this much negativity might have given up ages ago.

The general idea behind them is that they set up auctions for items with really low starting bids i.e. a few cents and you buy tokens to be able to bid on them. However, most of the time auto botters from the site will bid on those items to keep them from being sold at too low of a price, and as a result you money you put into your tokens is basically lost.

No one has to win, depending on how the contracts are written they defiantly would have the legal right to sue you as a player if you tried to leave your contract. Of course no one would win but it would come down to loss of money. A company that makes tons of money vs a gamer who makes very little. The company could make life very difficult for a gamer due to this.

Yeah penny auction sites make 0 money at all, they certainly don't have more then an average gamer. They also don't have a contract on the gamer that is more then likely skewed totally to their own benefit. Nope, not at all.

It seems that a lot of people jumbs to quick conclusions build upon shallow, often one-sided information. I think that people in general are just too damn lazy to spend the time and energy needed to make a fair analysis beforehand but yet they still have a need to get their 'voice' out there as soon as possible to add their 'coin' to the pool. The foundation that some people build their 'hate' for Major seems pretty weak to me, I must say. Are we really that intolerant?

If Sixjax really is threatening to sue their players for leaving, they need to be outted hardcore and boycotted by the community.

Wow, if the team's sponsor is resorting to legal threats to keep their players in line, I hope another party steps in for their sake.
This is one of those rare circumstances where some kind of overseeing body (O God KESPA!?!) makes sense. The players here are ultimately kids, they really don't know what they're signing, and certainly have no clue whether threats (especially legal one) are legitimate or not. Players' rights have to be protected. If there are anything credible to these rumors, it's up to the community to step up and defend the players until we have a body ready to protect them.
I am used to companies that threats lawyers at every turn, frankly, most of them are paper tigers. However, the players should have some back-up before making their next move, if they choose to. I don't know much about your history with sixjax because I don't really follow this stuff, not too much, but you CANNOT make claims like "Oh and even though we don't do shit for you, if you try to leave we'll ruin you and your family's life" without something serious to back it up. It's pretty irresponsible/drama-inciting with little to no factual information behind it.
Either elaborate more on this or stay out of these kinds of threads.
