Are you being serious? Major is/was one of the best foreigners.
I don't understand all the Major hate...he clan hops and changes his name a lot. Who cares? His skill is all I and you should care about.

If sending Maj0r to Korea was in Sixjax's contract but Maj0r continually breached the contract, isnt it Sixjax's right to withhold any kind of benefits they agreed to give in that contract? Breach of contract would make the whole thing voidable wouldnt it?

My original statement still stands though, hope NSH kicks him out (of their house) asap. why he's a solid player? why do the idra fanboys not treat idra like shit when he forfeits games or straight out tells his opponent to fuck off during an MLG broadcasted game? i feel major gets too much shit hes a great player , idra on the other hand is a shit player who rages about a loss and doesn't even play a series out lol whos an idra fanboy here? Im sure most of the people here are also willing to denounce Idra for his unprofessional behavior and immaturity.
and you are obviously a Major fanboy. You say that Major is a "great player" but Idra is a "shit player"? Since when were either of these 2 players bad at this game? Its pretty much agreed that both these players are incredibly good at SC2 but have attitude problems.
typical, the fanboy's main argument is to call other people who disagree with him fanboys

Its quite sad that sixjax is on the verge of being disbanded, with them not sending any players to tounaments and pulling out of the team league. Poor Artosis, anything he endorses just goes to hell.

would like to see him in korea, if only he would stop the drama

To be fair, Major makes a strong case for being the absolute best NA player, period. Would be cool to see him in Korea.
And I like ViBE and dde quite a bit, so here's hoping sixjax doesn't shut down completely.

should people ignore Chris Brown's wife-beater mentality because they like his music? should people ignore Terrell Owen's attitude problems because hes good at football? Kobe is fuckin incredible at basketball, lets all just ignore the whole sexual assault deal and his other attitude problems!
who the fuck pardons people for having despicable personalities simply because theyre good at something?

Btw guys, can you read Major's statement without earing his mexican accent into your head ? It's quite impossible for me.

Has this not been said everytime there was news about him team hopping / doing something really shitty
and look what's up again, surprised? Not really

You could read it?
Always loved Major's drop play, but it sounds like he has some other things to work on outside of Starcraft.

To be expected. Major is great player and expect him to really light up some tournaments in the near future but his personalty (or lack of maturity) will be an obstacle. I don't think major will end up on a big team but maybe perhaps a middle team.

Not exactly, but close. Unless it was a significant breach (I was going to use the word "Major" at first then realized my folly... lol), Sixjax can amend the considerations it provides to Major based on the effect of the damages on potential compensation to Sixjax both in present and future (this can be hard to estimate). Realistically though I'm betting that Sixjax uses a standard professional gaming contract and that a trip to Korea was never provided in such a contract. Many companies also use an integration clause that essentially says the contract as written is complete, and all oral backings carry no weight to the contract.
That being said, as Major is an individual, the courts may have ruled in his favour. But a trip to Korea is probably not contractually included.
Who knows though, sixjax said Major breached the contract without any real backing, while Major says sixjax promised a trip to Korea, a claim that seems iffy to me at best.

I dunno but remember when Naniwa was acting out and pretty unprofessional? It's interesting how easily people forgive and forget his past mistakes. I think Major could change if he wanted to.
|
Good choice leaving SixJax, if everything maj0r is saying is true, he should have left a long time ago.

good luck major you are an awesome player! alot of people judge upon hearing from others etc.. really too bad.

people had more or less forgiven major, they just like to say "told you so"
if naniwa had messed up during his first months in dignitas people would have said the same, some people probably still will

It may not be so easy for him to find a team, depending on what the breach was. If he was failing to meet contractual obligations to promote the team (and hence, obtain sponsorship) he may have a lot of trouble getting onto a reputable team (see Destiny). Obviously Destiny was more mutually agreed that he was not a good fit, but he similarly did not want to perform the contract.

When you think about it, if he had stuck with Root for two to three more months, he could have ended up on Complexity or Reign. If he was on good behaviour maybe FXO would have picked him up, the way they picked up QXC and Sheth.
Both QXC and Sheth have gotten opportunities in Korea. And Isn't Complexity sending Drewbie to Korea as well?
