He wants to play in KOREA where the competition is at and where he can focus everything on improving his game. I hope he gets into NSHseo academy. In Korea he will have have to shape up because he will be out of his comfort zone.

They might have asked Artosis what he thinks, Artosis might have said what they SHOULD do, but in the end, only the management decides what they will do. Without any proof, it's stupid to blame or even drag Artosis into this. Agreed, I honestly think that their were probably some contract breaches on Sixjax's side as well. They probably promised korea and when they realised they couldnt / didnt want to deliver on that promise, they brought up major' incidents as a reason to let him go.

The difference is that Idra is a household name and because of that he gets away with it. Idra on your team means the biggest exposure you get in the NA SC2 scene. He secures EG exposure and I bet my ass the money they need to have the other guys on the team. The same goes for incontrol as well. No results but he is a houshold name in the US SC2 scene and gets EG more exposure with vids about him benching than his play. That is why they will keep him. Incontrol is not stupid. He knows how business works. And I am pretty sure he will keep his name out in order to do what he loves as long as possible. Maj0r is a no-name in the US SC2 scene. Life isn't fair. It has never been.

If all Sixjax wanted was to pay for room and board, they would have sent their team to hostel. Straight up paying another team so they could be their roommates is a shitty deal. Players living in a hostel is not in any way comparable to players living in a Korean team house - so I'm not sure you know what you're talking about in that regard. No offense. If sixjax actually thinks that paying another team so the (objectively inferior) players could stay at their team house and improve was a "shitty deal", then they can't really expect ambitious players to join them and stick with them in the first place. Currently, they're in no position to "negotiate terms" with Korean teams - they need a partnership with a Korean team to retain MajOr (or any talented/ambitious player). Korean teams don't really need sixjax at all.

Maj0r is a no-name in the US SC2 scene. Life isn't fair. It has never been. maybe a noname, but he definitely has some talents for this game. The opinion of the majority and the exposure can change very quickly in this game. Some times ago, Naniwa was just another "little kid with some talents" and everyone was bashing him and tell that no team will ever pick him up. Now he is one of the Foreigner only hope against Korean ![]() One or two good results are the only thing that prevent him to go from the "little prick who is hurting esport" to the "I always say that Major had the potential to win !" Hope he make it to the Korea, and GL major ![]()

The thing is that you can sort of replace Major with other players (eg. a tournament considering an invite or a team looking for players). There's nothing absolutely special about him at this moment. With someone like Idra, along with his attitude, his reputation has been as the best American player, or the best foreign BW player, or best foreign zerg for awhile. What is Major known as? An unprofessional, up and coming foreign terran? Unless he's the next Flash (or at least Code S talent) he's replaceable, and it's important whether or not he really is unprofessional, for him to be aware of his image and to never be in a position where he can be portrayed in that manner. As an analogy, in basketball, there's a simple concept that even some professionals do not understand. It's not about making sure that you don't commit a foul, but it's about making sure you don't appear to commit a foul. It requires an extra level of consciousness. Unfortunately with his reputation (deserved or not), he's sort of in this kind of spot. I like the idea of up and coming foreigners, but if Major disappeared tomorrow, nothing would really change in SC2. Be professional, if that's what a team asks of you.

Don't hate on Terran, a bro just wants to go to Korea and own some Korean dudes.

Korean teams don't really need sixjax at all. The hostel remark was sarcastic, and made to highlight that simply paying someone to do business with you isn't really good business at all. I'm not sure what Major or his apologists were expecting. That Sixjax should have paid a team like IM to babysit them, using some mysterious vault of money they may or may not have? That Sixjax should just accomodate whatever Major's demands are, because he is really really good and he wants to be in Korea super bad and trying to broker a good deal takes too long and Major is a so special and we don't want him upset waaaaaaaaahhhhhhh.

I like MajOr because he's a good player, i'm happy he parted ways with sixjax as it is a shitty site that should be as illegal as Ponzi scheme are. Now, i hope Artosis is also going to leave them. Still, even without a team, Maj0r should go to korea, he has the money to do it thanks to Blizzard. Good luck Major. Edit: typos!

Maybe he will foot his own bill to get out there, but he didnt say in his statement that he was going, he said that he had arranged for the NSHS house so that sixjax could send him there, and then they said no and he left the team. Doesnt say anything about him still going.
