IM.Fenix? Well, I'm definitely not Fenix. He is Fenix.
I hope he can keep the hard work up and doesn't burn out. If he can adjust to the tough regimen and phenomenal players, I imagine that we will start seeing more of the phenomenal Fenix more than the mediocre Fenix.
With Sjow going to Korea, Naniwa and SaSe planning on staying for the long term, and Idra returning, Korea is getting crowded with foreigners, all of whom will hopefully trickle into Code A and Code S.

Peruvian terran Jian Carlo Morayra (IM, hereafter Fenix) has joined IM.
IM's head coach Kang Dong-hoon announced Fenix's signing immediately after the F.United-oGs GSTL match. Fenix has been playing without a team after his contract with Fnatic ended recently.
Fenix appeared in the GSTL match wearing a Googims Company (IM's uniform sponsor) shirt. While it was not IM's official uniform it shared the same design. The secret behind his outfit was none other than "joining IM".
IM's head coach said "Fenix recently entered our team house and saw he was all right after watching him practice. I rate his willingness to learn, high level of understanding of what he is being taught and the fact he constantly analyzes replays very highly. Also, he really wanted to join IM."
The effect of joining IM was profound. In the match against oGs, he defeated Luvsic and TheSTC to claim 2 kills [T/N: In spite of what the article said above, the article itself was posted before the match actually finished]. Not only did he achieve a good result but his actual match performance was also outstanding. He demonstrated greatly improved skill in only a few days. [T/N: The few days since entering the IM team house]
Head coach Kang Dong-hoon intends to use Fenix as the spearhead for IM's expansion into the foreign arena. "By training Fenix heavily and consistently entering him into foreign tournaments we will make the IM brand more well known. We will operate a foreign expeditionary squad consisting of NesTea-Mvp-LosirA-Fenix." [T/N: MOAR IM PLAYERS ESPECIALLY NESTEA IN FOREIGN TOURNAMENTS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT]
In other news, IM's head coach is also considering signing players from Europe/North America and supposedly is actually in contact with such a player. [T/N: WHO COULD IT BE?????]
This is actually really big news. Signing yet another foreign player, a foreign expeditionary squad and Mvp/Nestea/Losira at more foreign events. I'm very excited!

But that's still bs compared to Korea) with a real progaming team like IM. However you're all right about Thorzain if he doesn't want to stay it's very unlikely for him to be picked up, I didn't know about that. I also never said that SaSe wouldn't deserve it but I just don't think so. Even Nani would make more sense from there POV honestly... I'm not really sure, but don't teams like mouz have contracts with their players, the seasoned and strong team they are? I heard once (not sure about the accuracy of these), but Sen had to wait for his contract with Fnatic to expire for him to leave. ThorZaIN also just left Praetoriani a few months ago to join mouz, so it doesn't sound that realistic for him to leave mouz so immediately. But I guess if he can, he might if he thinks joining a pro korean team will help him achieve his dream further and aligns with the rest of his goals, commitments, and ideals to achieve these goals.

In Broodwar maybe...
But i don't think that's the case in SC2 at all even for big team like IM. Pretty sure most foreign teams are richer than SC2 Korean teams. These Korean teams even consider NASL deposits as huge investments and they keep getting their players poached.

I think TT1 has won a couple bans on TL for balance complaining in LR threads...
Seriously though, no Fnatic players really have any big accomplishments as far as I know, a couple top 25 finishes @ MLG (and a 2nd place in 2010 MLG for tt1).
I think their best accomplishment is Rain's second place in GSL some time ago, and he wasn't in Fnatic at that point.

Sen and Rain are both very good? Rain did well the last two MLG's and Sen is just a monster (ripped up the NASL and what not). KawaiRice did really well this MLG, putting down some top players. On their site, they also have JF (TSL 1 winner) and NightEnd. So they certainly have talent. As of two weeks ago, I would say that everyone there is on par with Fenix or better. Obviously his stay in Korea threw that off kilter for a bit and changed the status quo. But they are certainly not without talent and they said there are some new big signings to happen very soon.

"We will operate a foreign expeditionary squad consisting of NesTea-Mvp-LosirA-Fenix"
they should rename it to "Game over squad" this gonna be sick

I hope Sase tries to join IM too, he would be a beast with such training partners.

Wow, really interesting with the "Foreign Expeditionary Squad" and the possibility to get more IM players in international tournaments!
Regarding the player it could be SaSe, IM has the best zerg and Terran players but their roster could benefit with a good Protoss player.

Sen's no longer with fnatic, hes now a member of the Taiwanese Team Gama Bears I believe.

IMFenix has a nice ring to it. Also, this is really exciting news. Edit: SaSe seems likely.
