Right... cos we should just expect the latest maps and changed spawn positions in all tournaments and show matches even though this event is filled with wc3 and bw players that probably arent aware than non close position versions of these maps exist. Look at the maps played, they are all ladder or old maps not GSL maps cos nobody but the Koreans play them. Why would you put korean maps in a promotional tournament in china? We cant be too critical of the competition and map pool cos we have no idea how tournaments are run in the chinese scene and what maps they use. Considering the Chinese server was the last to come online I wouldnt be surprised if they picked those maps because they were the most played and would give the chinese players the best chance against the koreans. That and this tournament had nothing to do with GSL/MLG who alter those maps. If the pool was, daybreak, belshir beach, xelnaga fortress and antiga shipyard then this tournament would be even more of a joke. I think there was too much hype leading into this event ): no stream and no exposure for something that was done at such a big venue. CPL did better lol.

Miss (Chinese female progamer) has lost in the showmatches (against Marie?) Rumours/Gossip: F91 (Chinese SC1/SC2 Zerg) trolled the chinese particapants on how TossGirl is very good at SC2 and was 1800+ Grand Masters in KR servers last season. The chinese players were mentally prepared to be humilated and Sky immediately annouced that he gave up his spot to Loner before the event. Turns out that Tossgirl doesn't really know how to play SC2 and did not participate in the tournament. History: F91 lost to Tossgirl in a BW tournament back in 2010 when he was china's WCG champion and was humilated by the chinese community and then annouced his retirement from SC1 shortly after. He is a really good Zerg player playing SC2 now.

And it was in 2009, at Shanghai World Expo, F91 and Super both lose to Tossgirl.
