Infi played WC3 like a Starcraft player, massing defenses, expanding and harassing , i got the impression he had a small starcraft background before playing WC.

I also fully expect Infi to cause a few upsets during the tournament, although MC will more than likely take the whole thing.

As I'm typing this now it got me thinking. So much cheaper for sponsors to give huge prize money in RMB. China have huge potential to develop esport industry into as big as South Korea. I hope this will set a good precedence for other big sponsors to host more tournaments in China to get more Chinese players to go pro.

There was a Moon vs. Sky showmatch in SC2 during the StarsWar tournament. Sky wasn't that great, to be honest, though he was probably just dicking around; he tried a marine/SCV all-in that Moon held off with ease and then tapped out of the game. I would be sorely disappointed, though, if none of the Chinese Terrans try the 1/1/1 on MC. That would be hilarious. And of course, I'm very interested in seeing how good Fly and TH000 are. I wouldn't expect amazing play out of them still; Fly, Sky, TH000, Moon, and Lyn are all competing in the WC3 WCG, so they won't have a lot of time to prepare. Expect NaDa or MC to roll through; if there's one Chinese player on that list that might cause an upset, I'd say it'd be Infi. We'll see. Should be fun! ![]()

Although not the biggest when you convert it to $US, but consider working class people in cities like shanghai just earns like a few thousand RMB a month, think about the scale of 10 MILLION RMB!! That will for sure raise some attention in China. Just like a normal middle class job here in NA pays a few thousand dollars a month, now imagine a SC2 tournament here that pays $10 million dollars top price. Now that would be when esport stars can compare to normal sport pro athletes. As I'm typing this now it got me thinking. So much cheaper for sponsors to give huge prize money in RMB. China always had a lot of money flowing around in the e-sports scene - just in the other games such as WC3 and DOTA. WC3 to China is like what BW is to Korea, without the hundred thousand dollar contracts in China.

Am I the only one that thinks this is easy money for MC and Nada though? All of the other players are really famous in their own right, but as far as I know all of them are either playing SC2 on the side to another game or are not even progamers.
