Hondelul 1999 Posts August 16 2011 19:17 GMT #128 The invites are probably better used on foreigners if Koreans can participate in all qualifiers :D That´s the point I´m very curious, if the 4 "global qualifiers" are 4times global or 1 qualifier for a region. So Top 2 Korean/EU/America/SEA(?) There might be many Koreans in open tourney as well, since so many teams have sponsoring/relations from foreign teams. Really looking forward for it, the production from IPL was always amazing and with many Koreans the playlvl will be ridiculous.

While there's absolutely a market for replay casting events, it seems like a shame that players would compete for a $50,000 prize pool in IPL2 and finish the entire tournament at a leisurely pace God-knows-how-many weeks ago. This is going to be fucking amazing. If IGN does this right is has the potential to be bigger than Dreamhack. Bigger than NASL. Bigger than MLG. Bigger than the GSL.

I assume they'll probably use their invites on foreigners so koreans will have to qualify through the online open brackets or in person lan. Not sure how many koreans will fly out to play in the live 256 man tourney which is essentially the mlg open bracket. However, a 100k prize pool is more enticing than the mlg one so I hope a ton fly out to compete in the open bracket! Spread the word to korean teams. They must know about this!
