I can't believe people are whining so much. It is not even possible for me to watch casterless sc2 as I always get distracted from something else. As long as someone doesn't annoy me, I am very grateful for what they do when they are casting. Doa, Wolf and Moletrap are those people.

I love moletrap, especially the combination of him and Doa! This has just sparked my interest in GSL again. If the coming season has interesting players I might have to watch GSL regularly again.

Honestly who are you to decide what other people need? A lot of people enjoy insightful casting and a lot of people enjoy active play-by-playcasting. Most caster pairs actually combine these two (like Totalbiscuit with any knowledgeable caster), except Tastosis/Day9 who have transcended 'normal casters' :p

Personally I prefer wolf/doa or wolf/moletrap because I cringe every time I hear something plain wrong without it being corrected. But other people prefer other casters and you should respect other people's taste.

I can't stand moletrap for a few reasons:

The first, and probably the most critical reason is that his analysis SUCKS. He knows next to nothing about game trends, or the players. I'm not saying that he needs to be Artosis but screaming about everything doesn't make for good commentary. I wouldn't mind him as a purely color commentator though.

Second, and this one is purely preferential, I can't stand his voice. It's been described to death by countless other people in this thread so I won't get into it.

I guess his analysis will improve over time but i can definitively say that his casting will make Code A a less enjoyable experience for me. When wolf/ANYONE was casting I loved it becuase although he was extremely awkward, he knew EVERYTHING about the players, the builds, micro, and game trends. I don't remember too much about DOA.

After a few more Code A series, I don't find moletrap's high pitch voice to be as annoying as I found it last season. Maybe he improved, maybe I've adjusted to it. At least I don't cringe anymore when I see him hahaha!

However, I still think he needs to add more technical info on his commentary to balance the non-sc2 talk.

I think he is a decent caster and ofc I can live with him casting Code A. But he REALLY needs to stop his (fake) over-excitement screams. Im kinda dying inside when he does that with his (to my ear) really annoying voice. That would be so great if he did that, esp those OHHHH NOOO!'s

This is really my only real gripe with him. He has other minor things that get to me, but so do almost every caster who isn't DayJ. However constantly interrupting, normally for something completely irrelevent, is annoying as ****. Wolf/Doa have been my favourite code A pairing so far.

This recent code a ro8 i think their casting has gotten much better. DOA/Moletrap are starting to have a good flow with their casting back and forth. Moletrap has barely interrupted DOA and he is definitely trying to correct all the criticism of him.

One thing I want to see more of is Tastosis, I feel they are starting to cast less and less throughout seasons.

Moletrap used to dual casts with Diggity, Klazart, Rise and Cholera and those guys were the best in BW. They're could literally cast all six at one time and make it work because they had that type of chemistry. If Moletrap sucks for you, it's either because you're new to starcraft esports or his co-caster is lacking. Get used to him.

Looking at GOMtv's website it seems a lot of people hate him. I find it funny though that his fanboys believe the problem lies with the listeners rather than the casters, I hate to break it to you but it's the listener's opinions that matter.
