Its so weird... when Moletrap first went over everyone loved it... now its mostly hatred I dont get what caused the big swing. He's never bothered me personally, but I dont have a dog in the fight. What caused the big shift in opinion on him?

Nothing against moletrap as a person, but he is far and away my least favorite commentator. His voice gets super high, screechy, and grating, his inter-commentator jokes usually come across as rude, he doesn't know when to stop talking and let the other commentator have a chance, his commentary is either super shallow and far too "play by play" or his deeper analysis is usually very wrong.

And his jokes are terrible.

I think pretty much every other commentator is worlds better than moletrap.

Whatever happened to Jay? Jay had a sexy, sexy voice.

Every time moletrap talks, i want to kill myself. I have to watch GSL code A on mute whenever he commentates. He has very little game knowledge besides the obvious and is painfully unfunny...no offense. he's a nice guy, but I would much rather have wolf solo casting.

Against Guys like Unstable/QXC or Torch - Moletrap is a CastingGod! Especially Unstable and Torch were soooo bad last Season - I wanted to kill myself everytime they said something.

He replaced Kelly, hence most people were initially positive.

seriously? I could see unstable's accent being annoying to some, but torch was very in-depth in his understanding of the game. A fantastic analyzer. And QXC was fucking amazing. By himself, he was as good as tastosis. His jokes were just fucking hilarious, he all-killed IM by himself, his understanding of the game is better than any other caster GSL's had, he's smart, he mixed perfectly with wolf, the list goes on and on.

QXC was the best commentator GOM has had outside of tastosis, IMO.

I think it was during the group selections, but John mentioned that Jay had gone off to join a K-Pop group. Not sure how serious he was being.

He's actually less annoying and a better caster now, so I'm happy. Him and Wolf go together better than him and Doa.

hahahaha. I miss jay. He didn't know much about the game, but I loved listening to him. and his seamless interviews were amazing.

Moletrap's cool, I like him - but people have differing opinions.
My biggest gripe with moletrap was with him interrupting DoA all the time but this cast with Wolf seems to be going quite well with less interrupts.

he does work better with wolf than doa, but it's just not a money mix. He still butts in and tries to go super meta with his analysis, and it's not working. at all.

I like his casting this time around. He seems to have toned down on the extreme excitement, other than at huge moments.

Wolf trolling moletrap hard during this casting. And moletrap took it all lol.

the problem with moletrap is that he became too serious and that took away from his character that he built up in BW that everyone liked. I know that because its an actual job, he wanted to get serious, but its showbiz, u gotta take that step back sometimes.

if moletrap chills down and finds a good tempo going with wolf then everything is set and things will be alright.

A bit disappointed that moletrap hasn't tried to stop his rampant interrupting / yellling over his co-caster. It really does make me want to tear my hair out
