That is correct, if he comes without an invite, he gets seeded according to his mlg points.

I would love to see MKP invited to this. MKP or Nestea!
|
Invite Alicia!
He really needs another chance, we want a P, and as much as I love MC I´d prefer him staying there training to stop Nestea
As a Zerg player, hmm maybe july? he did great on his last MLG and it would be cool seeing the god of War in Pool play. he also shows great personality

Why would Nestea come to MLG... come on people.
|
Excellent, Bomber <3 Would love to see NesTea, MVP and MC at MLG
|
They should bring some deserving Code B players, so they can compete for the Code S spot.
Protoss: Vines, Yonghwa, San, Sage Zerg: Revival, Curious, Line Random (!!): GuineaPig

Why? It'd be complete rape lol. 1 sided face rolls until they play each other in the semis or something.

no he has to go through open bracket, He was an invite thus he doesnt gain any points.

I'd like to see NesTea or Zenio @ MLG Raleigh tbh...way too many terrans. No good protosses shown themselves sofar recently apart from MC, Alicia bombed out hard from the open bracket. Puzzle might prove himself as really good, but too early to judge. HongUn does not seem like a popular guy, and sofar it has shown bias towards Koreans known in the foreign scene.

They invited Bomber the first time. It makes sense that they'll invite him again once his visa's squared away.
It also makes sense that MVP is invited again for, you know, being the fucking champ
I'm crossing my fingers for them to invite Sage and Fruitdealer.
Sage, because he's awesome and deserves a chance to shine.
Fruitdealer because part of me believes that he'll actually smash face versus foreigners

That is a widespread belief, but it's actually not true. I'll see if I can find the rules regarding that.

Are you saying a top 3 of Nestea, MC and MVP will not be the most entertaining thing -EVER-

When they play each other yes it'll be entertaining. The roflstomps before that maybe not haha.

Deserving Code B players would be in Code A if they were deserving in 9 out of 10 cases. People like DRG are the exception, not the rule. Those players are good, no doubt, but Code S/A is the top 64 not the "who is good according to Artosis based on 1 match they played once" competition. There is another 10~ or so players who are on par with those you mentioned who are the same level, like oGsHero

Zenio would be a good choice, especially if placed in a group with idrA so he could beat him again I agree with giving a chance to some lesser known players, but the majority of people want the big names to hype up the event.

Invite Puzzle. He did pretty well in Code A and he's protoss, too.

actually its true, I remember an MLG admin post it around here.
They're points dont count.

HAHAHA. but seriously i want NesTea to come to a MLG, so i can watch him play against foreigners. NesTea just doesn't seem to leave Korea.

Ya the korean invites do get MLG points so if
#2 MMA - 2200 points #8 MVP - 1200 points #13 Losira -1000 points #16 Boxer and MC - 900 points
IF they decide to come back on there own they would get seeded into the championship polls. MVP will get invited as the defending champ.
