As a fan of both, I have to agree with you here. Sage plays intelligently, but his unit control is absolute shit. If you've seen his iCCup Korean Weekly games, you know what I'm talking about. His PvT is very good, his PvZ is occasionally good, but his PvP makes me want to cry. My vote goes to Alicia, who is, IMO, much more consistent.

Would like to see the remaining two invites go to non-Terrans. One Zerg and one Protoss would be perfect. IMNestea and oGsMC would be awesome, though the Code S spot would be wasted if the top 3 were Nestea/MC/MVP/Bomber  . Donraegu again maybe and hope he doesn't disappoint?
Would like to see sponsors fly over one or two teammates as well to compete through the open bracket, like Ganzi (man did he go through a lot of games to get to #4, man needs more appreciation  ). Would love to see Alicia/Min from Slayers, Nada, Puzzle, Tassadar just because of the name lol, and some others.

I believe Sage is a good representative of protoss from Korea. He is insane in GSTL.
Also, having Fruitdealer/Nestea/Julyzerg will be cool but I would prefer Nestea.

Except DongRaeGu wasn't hyped by Artosis all that much, and actually has taken out many very strong players in GSTL rather convincingly. Sage all-killed a weaker team with some cutesy strategies and people are suggesting him over Alicia...

Sage is a very smart player who has consistently performed well in iCCup, every time he looses it's usually due to PvP which because a) His unit control is awful b) He tries to Forge FE in a PvP ><
I don't think he's better than alicia at the moment though (his PvZ is though lol)

I hope they also invite MarineKing and then a protoss.
That would be the best line-up to me. Nestea/MC should stay in Korea and focus on the GSL. Especially MC who said that traveling everywhere has messed up his practice. I want to see MC at his best in the upcoming GSL.

Bomber was due to be invited, he couldn't get a Visa before so now he's comming (makes sense to me). MVP going as champion, I would love to see a protoss and zerg get the other two spots.

GSL individual leagues are the true test of any player. A player who can all kill a team is impressive, but bo1's are not necessarily the best indication of skill. We saw this with squirtle, where is he now? Champions of the individual leagues have proven time after time that they can keep up with the extreme pressure required to stay competitive. People put MMA on a pedestal after having a clutch victory over MVP in the 2nd team league. People have quoted DRG as being the 2nd best (and some nutters even say 1st over nestea) after his LG cinema win over scfou where he supposedly "crushed his opponent". Mind you that series turned out 3-2. It's just a personal thing but for me, I've learned not to place too much emphasis on the GSTL's where volatile bo1's occur. Those who prove themselves to be the absolute best are those who fight their way through the individual leagues.
edit: another example I forgot, Seed. Where is the guy now? I get sick of the "this guy deserves code s but code b is just really hard" excuse. Those who have what it takes will find a way into code s. I know code b is ridiculously tough, but if you're truly the best of the best, you'll find your way through the qualifiers.

It doesn't have to be Nestea or MC. But should be a really good Zerg and Protoss. Next time they should reduce amount of Terran tbh, the last MLG wasm't really fun with tanks and hellions at all. Boxer vs Rain game 1 was the example of stalemate, some fun moment but 1 hour 12 mins is just too damn boring >"<
