Lol I can't believe some people are still surprised at dde... Besides ostojiy tt1 is the other debatable pick here. Overall an awesome lineup though.

DDE and Ostojic are odd choices. Otherwise let's see how it goes.

DDE often times players much better than Select

especially TvZ

Odd as in I haven't seen them around the big tournament podiums that much, as opposed to the others. Still think they have to be great players to reach this far.

He beat IdrA in the $10k Tactic3D tournament, beating a lot of good players, no-one watched that though. He did well in TB's last tournament as well, dde deserves to be there.

Ostojiy probably doesn't but who gives a crap, I'd like to see someone I've only heard of come out and rape some big names.

Are both tournaments (LA and NA) online?

I am a bit scary, because the european one is offline?

I would imagine the Major will be in the LA invitational.

Don't Mexicans play on NA? With Mexico being in North America and all.

I think you completely missed the joke; Major got exposed for smurfing in a SEA tournament after explicity being told he cannot participate.

Anyway; that is a scarily solid list of players; and Sheth will be wearing the TLAF-Liquid' colours makes this more exciting I would like to see Sheth or HuK win it, but i can see SeleCT going far if he hits form.

Dde has had some incredible performances lately so he is a dark horse

Ostojiy and DDE are both quite good even if they're relatively unknown. Overall great choices. Now that Sheth is on Liquid I'm even more excited!

hmm me as an european, i know dde very well. He was playing incredible good in the last time. Don´t know why somebody does say that he is an "easy win" or something like this.

I'm not sure why people are so surprised to see them. They are both names that you see in the top 3 spots on ladder consistently, and these invites are supposed to be at least somewhat based on ladder right?

Umm where the hell is Tyler? He is potentially America's best player. Blizzard showing a lot of ignorance with these invites.

HuK should take this, if we judge conservatively, but you never know (and depends on motivation).

are you serious about tyler? I love the guy but TT1 has had better results and Tyler is not a force he was in sc1 thus far. hopefully that changes, but you cant invite him because you " like " him better.

I don't know how to feel about TT1. I've seen him do amazingly, and I've seen him just crumple and play like a gold leaguer without hands. Hope he can make a good showing and prove he was picked for a reason!

this is going to be an interesting watch for sure. I would find it very very Ironic if they have connection issues.
Also Idra/Sheth don't let me down :D:D:D:D:D

I think this will be interesting, my thoughts would be a HuK win, since IdrA usually struggles with zvp more than his zvz or zvt, but IdrA said that he had really been practicing for Anaheim, I want IdrA to win but I'll have to see. Either way IdrA and HuK FIGHTING!!

Major has decided he's pretty good vs blink stalkers and is currently figuring out some basic mandarin so he can smurf his way into the CN tournament.

If you reread this chain of posts, I'm sure you'll find that I responded to the claim that he'd play in the LA invitational. Not the obvious joke that he'd play in the SEA qualifier.
