We have what I would call a "Branch" there. And thats just because of my own opportunistic personality. It wasn't planned at all. I do not see the US being the centre point of e-sports. Thats true, but I don't see it in korea either. But at the same time, people should respect korea for a bunch of things, 1) its history and 2) its talent. There is no harm as a pro gamer spending some time in korea. It helps people to understand the requirement to be the best. Some people do not wish to be the best and thats fine. But FXO is in the business of creating the best possible. NOTE: THis is not relevant to Sheth, this is part of my explanation why korea is what it is. The "center" of Esports is going to be whatever location is holding the big event that Weekend. Most of it will be based around Internet connections & streaming (i.e. TV, just like American Football is really based on TV), as MLG & Dreamhack well proved. Teams will just need "home bases" as well.

Every 4 years, the World Cup is the biggest media event of the year, and by a wide margin (assuming no insane disasters /knock on wood). But it isn't "centered" anywhere. The World Cup shows up somewhere every 4 years and holds the tournament. For those few weeks, that location is the "center" of Football (soccer) for that time. When it's over, the "center" moves somewhere else. We're already seeing this with SC2. Dreamhack, IEM, MLG and GSL are all held in *very* different parts of the world. Yet, for those weekends, they become the "center" of the SC2 world. We've got a week until MLG Anaheim. All of SC2 will be focused on Anaheim for that weekend. (The fighting game community will be focused on EVO over in Las Vegas that weekend) Somewhere in the middle of the night, a lot of us will tune over to the GSL finals, which will be the center for the few minutes it takes NesTea to win his 3rd title. This is simply going to be the future. Well, it's already the present, actually, and likely to get a whole lot bigger, at that.

He means after getting his Code A spot, proving that he was Code A material and making it to the Ro16 and losing to the same person that won the whole tournament. 'lol u' Come on.

'lol u' Come on. So... Because he won 1 bo3, you're saying his the only code a material when qxc went 1-2 to DRG in the qualifiers? His hardly code A material, especially with his mentality

Maybe europe but I don't know, USA seems like the best option there is. Tbh I think Europe will be a very strong contender for the "esport paradise". We have so many semi-big tournaments. Dreamhack, Assembly, Homestory cup, IEM and many more that are being overlooked but they still have a rly good price pool. Just look at: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=245221 Two tournaments that most ppl haven't heard of. Medion Trophy: + Show Spoiler + Stephano - €1,500 + €1,300 in Prizes Naama - €700 + €1,000 in Prizes AureS - €300 + €200 in Prizes Masters des Jeux Vidéos: + Show Spoiler + Stephano - €2,500 KenZy - €1,200 AureS - €600 Those 2 tournaments are two tournaments that were played in France between July 1 – July 14. In September there's a tournament in Sweden that no one have heard of that is having a price pool of: ~3200 $. The thing that US is doing better is that they have bigger online tournaments. NASL, IPL, EG masters cup and many more. But when it comes to LAN events I gotta give it to Europe. SO SO many tournaments all the time!!!

Players at his caliber don't stay free-agent long. I'm sure he'll have a lot of offers soon... I don't think he'll go to either Reign or EG, as they seem to both be going the team-house route and it seems he wants to stay home with family and friends (and there's nothing wrong with that choice! it's good that he has his own priorities in order) I would think a team like Fnatic or complexity would be good fits for Sheth. Either way... best of luck to Sheth and FXO in the future!
