Wheat will Milkis be joining you on the show tonight?

Sorry but if ANYTHING this is actually making esports more popular. Even though I hate to admit it but drama and excitement is what makes alot of sports in general popular.
More people have the interests of where players are going and interested in the players outside of SC2 gives people more to observe and obsesse over.
Ofc not. Esport is still a niche. It is not because 1 company within this niche decides to do something unethical it suddenly becomes a popular sport amongst the masses...
Ok and when did I say JUST THIS ONE INCIDENT IS MAKING SC2 POPULAR????
Never all I said was the drama in general brings more attention to the sport, period. I hate it but its true

I'm sure scoots would be pretty pissed. Sure he will, but when he had no contract with Idra, he can only blame himself

My point is that there was a contract between the parties and it was broken. What both parties decide to do after is something else.
No, they could not. Assuming your idea of a verbal contract based on trust is correct. The contract would be "You represent us at tournaments, we feed/shelter/train you". If this were the case puma said "I'm no longer playing for you and as such I am moving out". Thus end of contract. It would be different if Puma were to demand being allowed to stay in the team house.

Then don't watch MY terrible production and wait for the fucking text recap. Problem fucking solved. Mr Wheat, don't listen to assholes like thsi who have no clue what is going on, and just want something to throw rotten tomatoes at. I can't beleive TSL is at all surprised that their TOP PLAYER WHO WAS NOT BEING PAID A SALARY left their team when he was offered one. Uh... no shit? Pay your fucking players and write out a contract if you don't want this to happen. People saying that house + food is a salary... yeah a B teamers salary lol ^motherfucking this Most people on TL are so retarded it actually makes me angry now. Everyone saw in the NASL how fucking good Puma is. I think on SoTG or another show or something artosis said before NASL how fucking good puma has been for so fucking long. Then a team that is already losing good players isn't going to pay their players?!! Like wtf, how are EG the "bad" guys in this. In my eyes it's more like TSL not paying a talented player like Puma and EG is like "oh come join us we would like to pay you decent money". Perhaps is TSL taking E-sports not as serious as EG. Once again, another misinformed user. TSL pays fucking salaries god and you make fun of others for being misinformed I wasnt making fun of other being misinformed, I was complaining about others being retarded. Also that doesnt take anything away from my argument, good job finding one thing that wasnt correct in my post, I fixed it, my argument still stands and since you read my post and only replied about the salary issue it goes to show you got no argument. Jesus your post reeks of ignorance, Im gonna quote you "Most people on TL are so retarded it actually makes me angry now." You sir are in this category for being uninformed and posting something when you are uninformed.

Just so lame that again something controversial happens and that once again EG is the center of it and is lying about it. Or how they call it "not telling the whole story".
Incontrol makes a problem of TB changing scenes to make money, now his manager acquires a top player on the most unethical way possible. ---> Incontrol telling on every podcast how EG is the best business in the world and that they did nothing wrong.
Pathetic.

not really. a lot of people will be getting their first exposure to the details of the story from the show. you can't assume everyone who tunes into djWheat's shows have read every single page of every single thread on TL.

I'm sure he would but it shouldn't matter how butthurt a team is when a player leaves. The players should always come first and if they can put food on the table by joining a different team then that is all that matters.

How can you possibly make such a poor comparison? You talk like you know the relationship between Idra and EG, maybe he's on a contract, who knows?
Read the OP, PuMa wasn't on a contract and appartantly EG is willing to pay PuMa so much more salary than TSL that he decided to leave the place he "grew up", the coaching that trained him and his teammembers/friends.
Goes to show how well TSL took care of PuMa.

Morrisson did you fail to read the update????
The owner of TSL already said there was NO contract, I repeat NO contract for his time there at TSL. He also stated that its all based on trust and faith.

How would some team steal idra? Would they come to his house with a gun and stuff him in a van? Or do you mean Imagine if Idra decided to leave EG for another team by his own decision. In which case yes scoots would likely not be happy, but he would have no one to blame except himself or idra for that. Puma decided to leave to play for a different team, he was not stolen by any means.

Or TSL could have had puma sign a contract with them. That would have solved this issue pretty quickly. Sucks for TSL, but great for EG.
I can see this resulting in korean teams contracting their players ASAP especially TSL since they've lost so many already.

That was a quote by the TSL coach. It is in no way true as of yet because EG has not said a thing regarding this.

I think the point was that TSL didn't get an opportunity to make a counter offer.

Everything that needs to be said has been said. PuMa WASN'T on a contract. It doesnt who who aproached who, Puma got offered a contract/deal w/e you wanna call it. PuMa told his coach about it and left TSL. There's nothing else to say. Either EG has a shit ton of money and really wants Puma or TSL heavily under-paid Puma and there was no reason for him to stay in a team that doesnt respect his talent.

Keep crying about it Koshi its business.
Not only that but maybe just maybe Puma was WANTING to be on another team due to the departures of Trickster and FD....Maybe just Maybe PuMa wanted out just like them.
