it's a little different this time because he seems like a perfectly nice guy and his personality seems to fit, while he is actually not competing at all. normally the players are just strong and people would like liquid to improve their lineup. this one here is more of an investment in the future and the players (e.g. tyler) go way back. so imo it's justified to speculate and that is not because he is a sc2 beast right now

As someone else said, Liquid already has a strong Zerg lineup. Liquid needs another Terran to join lonely Jinro while TLO is out of action.

Every time there is a big free agent people bring this up and most of the time it is ridiculous :p. This time, I actually agree.
Mondragon would fit well on team liquid in my opinion as long as he is motivated to keep playing sc2. He's a veteran BW player, a very solid and innovative player, and also very good as far as PR goes, which is important in being part of such a reputable team like team liquid. So this time I have to agree, i want to see Liquid`Mondragon!
Edit: EG.Mondragon would please me as well

He stated various times very clearly, that his priorities are his studies (Masters in something with Business or Media... if I remember :-P ). This will last till 2012 at least. So he will join a Team that is not strong and have everything set up like Liquid or EG or aTn (where Take is Manager as far as I know)...and also a Team that still requires his skills as Team Manager but gives him enough free time to study and do his thing...hmmm...difficult choice.

Mondragon is the man. If he just put all the pieces together I believe he has the ability to be one of if not the best zerg. Keep fighting Mondragon! You have a ton of fans here that want to see you in competitive shape and see that drive again. Good luck with whatever team you go to.
