It's annoying when people see Tyler and just BM the shit out of him because he hasn't been doing well for. For example when he was helping HuK in the booth at DreamHack, half the chat was saying "WHY IS TYLER THERE?!?!?" or "IF HUK WANTS TO WIN HE SHOULDN'T LISTEN TO TYLER". Then he listened to Tyler, and won. Tyler knows whats up and I think when he puts more effort and heart into it, he'll be a real tough player and we'll see him take some tourneys. To be fair those people that criticize Tyler actually have more evidence to support their claims, whereas your post feels like speculation and blind faith. People have been listening to those same excuses for a year now. Criticism may be annoying as Tyler is a cool dude, but blind fanboyism is equally annoying in many ways.
BW skill doesn't directly translate into SC2, especially if you don't work towards it.

Grubby is highly underrated as of now

But on a more serious note:
I think Destiny is one.
I also feel like there are alot of GSTL Koreans that are underrated cause they aren't in Code A or Code S. Like Sage, Seal, DRG, Dragon, etc. Everytime I have gotten a chance to see them I shutter in fear of ever actually facing them. Sage, DRG and maybe Dragon are just flat out not underrated, you see so many people talking about how insanely gosu they are.
Actually, from what I've seen Sage has gone back under the radar since his one showing in GSTL. Especially with many of the lesser known members on his team making amazing showings recently in GSTL as well. Literally, I've heard very little about him since that one night he showed some amazing play.
DRG, I'll give you that, but as long as there are still excuses about how he's still Code B, then I'll still consider him underrated. This is an opinion thread afterall, correct?
Dragon only recently has become "widlely" "liked" (Notice the quotations) because of his stream antics (Eating noodles while playing, giving the boss pose while his army crushed through a toss army), but once again the general concensus is that he isn't on the SlayerS' GSTL Roster and isn't in any big tournaments, ever.

I'm going to have to agree. I don't think I've ever seen someone with quite as much potential as MrSnibbles.
He'll be making his way onto the pro scene soon people, he's just waiting and watching how things unfold alone first.

Caliber who played at MLG Anaheim. I'll throw vile.hawk in as well.

ToD. This guy has made unbelievable progress recently. Saw him appears on a lot of pro's streams and he's damn solid to my surprise. Obviously he must be practicing a lot in recent but I feel like he really have the talent on RTS games.

Well to be fair, Tyler was performing pretty good for awhile. But it seems that he might be deflated due to personal reasons. I think Tyler will catch up to the pack at some point. And thats not pure fanboyism or blind faith. Tyler simply needs to find his niche and run with it.
Maybe I do just have blind faith in Tyler, but I wont ever count him out unless he officially retires or something pulls him away from the game.

I believe Tyler is a very smart player, and people undervalue his intelligence because he hasn't practiced enough to turn his clever approaches to the game into outstanding tangible results. Pretty sure that's what Maverick was also trying to say before you shit all over him!

I think dimaga is horribly underrated, even considering a lot of people think he is really good.

underrated - ganzi and taeja and puzzle
overrated - Destiny and idra those two players are not the best in NA....

I think Fenix and Sjow are really underrated, they are both great Terrans.

Tyler has a great strategic mind, his openings are often creative and show a clear, concise train of thought. I wasn't even aware of his BW exploits until relatively recently and it is that which impresses me about him, he isn't a mechanical practice monster.
Demuslim, as I feel he just seems pretty all-round solid (especially if he gets his TvZ up to a higher level), he was posting results before his injury and I think we'll see him back soon, he did take out qxc at MLG there which was a solid effort
Kiwikaki, his control is pretty solid and he is pretty creative and unpredictable, two traits I enjoy watching in a player.
Destiny, I had to put a Zerg in there and I feel he gets a disproportionate amount of both love and hate. He isn't quite a top level player, but he has improved no end and he has actually devised different approaches to matchups that don't consist of pumping units and winning a war of attrition.
Cruncher. I don't think he's particularly amazing but the guy gets far too much hate, he got out of the open bracket at MLG ahead of a lot more heralded names

State beat Fenix 2-1 that mean he is really good and underrated as well?
