well it's much easier to understand when it's 3bet etc.

or else it would be like raise, reraise, rereraise, rerereraise

It's weird cause I had never heard those terms before and I used to watch poker religiously a couple years ago.

Anyone can put in many hours but it doesn't mean shit

He also has some serious mental issues.

anger management issues... not mental issues wtf... idra isn't retarded or anything

He goes on big tilts in SC transfering that to Poker would be good for what reason?

I go on tilt on SC too when I lose, pretty badly even, that doesn't mean I play worse, from what I've seen Idra doesn't play much worse after he lsot a game, he doesn't start doing stupid shit, he just whines like no one else

I'm also far from being a fanboy of idra

MLG Idra vs MC comes to mind. Sometimes he handles it better than others.

wtf

Idra goes on tilt pretty easily. Tilting in poke is just as bad as tilting in SC, it would lose him a fair bit of cash.

Idra would be a pretty solid micro/low stakes grinder IMO. At that level, its basically all fundamentals, and if Idra put in the time to learn the fundamentals of poker even half as well as he has in SC2, he'd be fine. It's also relatively easy to get over major tilt issues IMO.

The donk of the table blew up. He had 2M at one point, then donated everything until the setup.

Yes and it's quite sickening the amount of money he's letting pass right by him for playing SC2. He can beat 3/6 and 5/10 24tabling on Stars that's so munch money...

There is more to life than money, my friend. Sometimes experiences in life can trump any amount of money you might earn. Playing on a stage with tens of thousands of people watching you online, over 1000 people in the crowd in front of you, competing in a tense finals of MLG with countless people supporting you and cheering you on; that is a major experience that he can proudly have for the rest of his life. Although he didn't win it, he got to the finals of a major important tournament playing a game that he dedicated a lot of time and practice towards that he loves.

I somewhat agree.

Tho I think realizing that here's more than money is a sick level of maturation I have yet to attain. I admire people like Kiwi and others who can think beyond money.

Yes, he's a midstakes grinder

I believe he plays 2/4, 3/6 and maybe some 5/10 (in dollars for the blinds)

usually avg pot is anywhere between about 7-14 BBs so likely around $40-60 per pot played
