Well guess what, if we waited for the 'all star team' then it would never happen, and we would never go to Korea for fear of failing. Huk and Jinro and FXO are paving the way for foreigners, this girl is paving the way for female players. That's the big picture. Nailed it. If she works hard and learns quickly she'll improve tenfold. Sometimes people forget that teams aren't only about getting a bunch of amazing players together to win leagues but also about paving the way for the next generation of player. | ||

Though I'm not sure if I can agree Slayers recruiting someone just because shes a cute girl rather than a good gamer if this is indeed the case and I find that hard to believe. I do hope that she can compete and not just be a pretty face in their line up, thats what they have Cella for! At the very least this might be good publicity for Slayers and might encourage some girls to pick up the game. | ||

Same concept with teams who recruit new members. If teams just recruited a bunch of gold/plat players with potential...most likely you won't end up with a GM/masters team. In terms of hiring this girl...clearly she has very little credentials. She played BW when she was in elementary...that's like saying I want to apply to become a computer programmer and I learned how to use the keyboard when I was in grade 5. There is no evidence as far as I can tell that she is even close to masters...hell GM or has ever even won a tourney. Clearly no resume of starcraft high-level experience...so why would they hire her? If you can prove this to me I've love to hear it, but my argument simply comes back to the point that they simply hired her b/c she is a girl. That is the only explanation I can think of when I try to think why they recruited her.
