DRG teased this with his interview a while ago, said he hoped for this invitation so he could skip qualifiers and Code A, straight to the big show.

Wow MLG Anaheim will be awesome. I would like to suggest sending Puma to the next MLG in Raleigh. That would contribute to it being an amazing event!

would have preferred 1 Protoss representative over sending 3 Terrans, but MVP is a huge name even though he hasn't produced any real results lately

Oh fuck, now it all depends on how the pool turns out, but even to imagine the insane matchups that could happen right in pool play is insane.

Also: Alicia Fuck yeah, open bracket is almost as stacked as pool play this time around.

EDIT: Just read up on MLG, interesting is that they award Code S to anyone who is not in it, so Boxer/MMA could actually get into Code S by winning Anaheim.

I think it's just availability of the player. If player is in Code A and has like a match during the time MLG is happening, obviously they wouldn't go. Also, if a player is in like RO16 and they need to get plane tickets, they'd not want to have someone who may be occupied with RO8 if they advance through RO16.
