The free stream runs perfectly, no lag at all and look pretty decent as well. The cameras aren't amazing, but if you're seriously pissed off at what happens between games then i think you may be watching for the wrong reasons. The player intros are a bit long, but well made, and it's not like other tournaments go from game to game immediately, at least we have a interesting video to watch instead of just people talking for 10 minutes or random shots of the crowd. Honestly the only thing that actually detracts from the the experience is a) the delay at the beggining b) get artosis to do the interviews c) obs could be better, perfectly watchable as it is already thougj All in all im getting what i expected. Good games, good casters, am some ramshackle stuff in between. Perfect? no. Does it warrant all this complaining? Absolutely not. If you feel it's not worth you money that's fine, but so are lots of other things, crappy movies you watch in the cinema etc. It's really only 10 bucks, and at the end of the day you're still getting great games over 3 days. It's a steal really Bro, this is the internets. Do you expect level-headed criticisms or non-exaggerated claims? People will shit over anything the minute they get a chance. The NASL has been a frequent target, and despite all of the good parts of the show, the vocal detractors will always, always, always try to make sure their voice is heard.

I'm one who usually gets annoyed at people who just hate to hate, but the criticisms here are pretty damn legit. There's really no way anyone can argue any other way. People saying "this stuff is really hard": yeah, of course it's hard. That's why we hire professionals to do it and pay 25 dollars to watch the streams + are a targeted customer base for sponsors. Putting on fireworks shows is hard too, but plenty of people do it. I know people want NASL to succeed really bad, but don't let yourself be blinded to very legitimate criticisms they need to hear. I mean some of the stuff that happened today aren't just "bumps in the road;" they are baffling errors in judgment. As such, it's important for the community to voice their concerns, criticisms and suggestions.

I think we can all agree it's not the best production, it's far from it. But it DOES offer what people actually want to see. good games. And 25 bucks? that's 2 lunchs for me, one night out at the movies, entry to a club + one drink etc etc. either one of those are enjoyed for less time. As long as the games are running you're getting what you payed for.

Oh, it started late because a projector ended up dying or whatever. What do you want from them at that point? They tested for hours with no problems, then there was one. Oops. My favorite complaint that I've read a thousand times today is about the 1-channel. Is it silly? Yes. Does it honestly make the event bad at all? I turned up my speakers a little bit, problem solved. The only kind of criticism that is really useful in my opinion are the non-as-obvious stuff or people's personal opinions on setting, structure, etc. Complaining about obvious shit that has to be fixed is just that; complaining. edit: lol beaten

True, I expected better quality, but I'm not exactly getting bothered or bummed about the whole. Just annoyed that I couldn't be there ):

The player cam is perfect (looks like they are telling a ghost story because its so dark in there) and they are constanty improving. Please come down from the high horse But that's even worse because "They" didn't fix anything someone from outside of the league had to step up and do it for them.

Maybe dress up the casters area a bit with some starcraft posters / logo's whatever, instead of a dull black curtain. All minor stuff, the games are fun, the casting is good. 1 thing though: What I found very weird was that July actually seemed to be able to see the casters while playing? So when Day9 is enthousiast because someone is taking a sneaky expo or preparing a drop the players can see him and know something is up? That's pretty bad ![]()

A lot of their problems seem to come from poor planning and even worse execution. There is a distinct lack of professionalism with the nasl, and it has become painfully obvious from watching the finals.

Poor MC and Boxer who will be playing like one full workday (12 hours) after the show start, I really hope they're sleeping right now because after a 12+ hour flight, they won't be very fresh.... They're still fixing a lot of things and I guess they'll get some feedback and fix the stuff left during the break. Days 2 and 3 will be way better I think.
