I just wanted to thank Mr Boxer, for not just being a great starcraft player and coach, but a great man. A big reason I became more competitive in starcraft during BW days was because my friend sent me a link to the OSL finals 2001. I was amazed by the world of professional starcrafting, and the skill by which these two played the game....and although I was a protoss player, boxer's play captivating. He played like no one else had, and after I watched Hiya vs Boxer in the 2007 PL, I realized he really was a genius. If I wasn't a fan before that, I definitely was then. He gave me the desire to become better, and gradually my friend and I formed a rivalry, always trying to best the other. These days, starcraft is a large part of my life, and BoxeR is largely to thank for this. However, BoxeR has set a tremendous example for not just myself, he has shown the world what it means to do something that you love, from playing in some PC bang all the way through the rise to fame, through falling to a pupil, and past the descent from the throne. As much as everyone probably didn't want him to, BoxeR aged like everyone else. He was past his prime, he was too old, he should stick to coaching. These things people undoubtedly said about The Emperor. However, BoxeR's come back was inevitable; a man with such strength and passion can never be kept from doing what he loves, especially with the backing of such wonderful fans and an awesome girlfriend. I just hope that one day, I may throw myself at something with as much passion and dedication as Mr. Lim Yo Hwan. 감사합니다, Adrian 박소 하고 제시카 화이팅!! | ||
