I'm trying to get to Diamond, but watching NSHoSeoSage is making me also want to switch to Protoss :/ I like the three month seasons. With NTBL starting up for my tournament map fix, a constantly changing ladder pool keeps the game fresh. | ||

Lets say I am in the diamond league , and I am nearing demotion. When I say nearing demotion , I mean I have lost twenty games in a row, and am facing gold players. If , when the ladder locks , I mass games and beat a lot of diamond players and am playing people at my level again , will those games count? Does mmr change even after the ladder lock? I understand points will , but my question is about mmr. | ||

Like if there are inactive people who has higher MMR than the newer master league players (like my smurf account) and they play a placement match again thus using up the available spot for the active 2% so that the newer Master league players won't get promoted into Masters untill there are inactive people again. Am I wrong in thinking like this? | ||
