Well I think the feedback given to GOM got the point across that mostly everybody thinks the new makeup looks ridiculous

Hopefully they change it up soon, Maybe we'll get an even more entertaining variation before they get it right

It's a pretty common element in korean/asian culture to have guys in makeup / otherwise effeminate-d. I can't believe that people are getting so upset about it to the point where some people in the thread are talking about having to minimise the stream? Grow up. It's just for fun, entertainment, and visual impact. People are pretty quick to jump up and try to force their western cultural norms on this korean-organised tournament.

Not my taste, but it helps make people understand that gayish things aren't necessarily bad. It's nice to see GSL educating the community (I know..this is probably a bad interpretation of what is going on, but it's the one I like).

I don't know what kind of asian culture you know, but this is not all that common. It might be okay in Kpop, or in high fashion places like Seoul, but otherwise it just looks ridiculous. I'll agree that asian ideals for men generally are a bit more effeminate though. But whatever, it's not like I've ever worn eye-liner or anything >_> (it was for a performance okay!?!)
