This is just like saying playing any game that has a progress system is worthless. I agree that ladder ranking does not prove you are good but people like to use it to track progress for enjoyment.

I got promoted 2 days ago after the first period when the ladder points were not given. However I did get promoted during the brief period of time (of 2 days) when ladder points were given or taken. Now it is broken again.
My diamond league was slowly filled up with players during the last 2 days. And I am about 95% sure that the last people to join the newly formed diamond league joined it during the time when no points were awarded. (League Nova Pepper, you can check).
So maybe we can say that MMR is still being affected. **shrugs**

well regardless, dont let this situation discourge you, blizzard will fix it, your points will be fixed but this shouldnt cause players to be inactive from ladder, if you keep playing it may not show now but the points will be updated when blizzard is done. They have 4 other games to worry about here come on

Yeah i just realized it wasnt working after losing 2 FAVORED games then winning one against a kid that was higher ranked then me.

This bug is actually pretty important, as GM players need to spend their bonus pool to remain there...

Played a few games roughly 2 hours ago and didn't receive any points for all 3 games. On NA server. I'm guessing just play for fun till Blizzard fixes the issue? Don't really matter either way since your MMR is still tracked.

Blizzard's incompetency is unparalleled it seems. I don't know how they managed to mess it up in the first place, but what on earth is undoing their "fixes", and so fast? Is there anything they can do right?

A few days ago Blizzard support said on the forums that even though people aren't being awarded points, the MMR is still being affected. So even though you're not stealing any nerd's ladder points (or having them stolen from you by Tasteless), if you do well your ranking will still improve.
