Why would you buy better players when the ones you have are working diligently to improve? I Could see FXO hunting for better players if there roster opens up or any of there members that stagnate and dont put forward any effort to improve. I do not see that as the case currently and standing by there team win or loss is better than instant results in my opinion.

I feel FXO has a solid chance vs NSH but Sage seems to be playing out of his mine lately. If they could perhaps get Oz to snipe him in a pvp I feel they rest of the team doesn't look extremely scary. We saw Sheth take out San in Code A. And the rest of the players are great, but not at that unbeatable level.

That is incredibly dumb. Raising new talents is far more important or would you still prefer a FruitDealer over a DongRaeGu?
It's not dumb at all, it is just a different philosophy. You see it in professional sports all the time, there are teams that buy the best players and there are teams that put more of the emphasis on individual roles and training up talent. Neither is right or wrong, it is foolish to call one dumb.
You can pretty much look at any sport and see these philosophies in action. FXO is choosing the training/role route over the buy the most talented players and put them on a team route. Nothing wrong with that it has worked for many teams in many sports, so has the throwing money at the best players approach.

Hope FXO takes a win against NSH.

I know that FXO hasn't been doing amazing in GSTL.
But regardless, even if they lose every match in the team leauge, just the experience will make them better players, and if they stick around in korea, then i know that they will become serious contenders

I Just feel bad for the FXO team... hope they manage to get a cople of wins ;s

after what SK Gaming has done with MC/Nada, i think it would be wonderful if FXO could make deals with foreign teams so that foreign teams can use FXO as an outlet for their players to participate in the GSTL. FXO gets better players and better players get opportunities in the GSTL. players are happy, FXO is happy, audience is happy, and foreign players' home team gets money from FXO for their service or transfer - everyone is happy except the korean teams they can now beat :D

What a fantastic day for the FXO team!
|
You have to crop out sheths face now, and put qxc as the main FXO player after his sick performance against IM.
|
Very nice games today! Congrats FXO! Too bad we didn't get to see other players show off their skills today, qxc had to be selfish

So what is the meaning of the word "training" ? Recruiting good but no top players who have a strong will to improve and send them in Korea to train 10 hours a day is way smarter than recruiting top players who will train 3 hours a day and quickly decline in skill. Training create value.

qxc, you are the best!
FXO + fOu = Domination

I just watched the VOD's of FXO vs. IM, and the first thing I thought of, was to find this thread =) Good job guys, you make us all proud

Allkilling IM after FXO barely wins any games let alone a single match... pretty sure we can deem him Code S champion by proxy. Only out microed... MVP yeah didn't win anything only... 2 gsl's (both were tvt's) win.
