Now, does anyone know the song that plays at the very begining of every 2013 WCS Code S match (the newest season), right when they are about to switch into the game and introduce the players? It only plays for a few seconds, and stops when the casters are introduceing the players.
Last night during one of the breaks, there was a song where many of the sentences started with somebody saying the word "i" and holding it for a long time.
I think one of the lines was "iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii want to take you in a new direction" and the next sentence ended with "perfection" (for rhyming purposes).
Google fails me repeatedly so either this song is mega obscure or I have the lyrics partly wrong. Anyone know this song? It's driving me nuts.

The only things I know about the track are: - It was played while Tasteless & Artosis were talking (might help pinpoint the day / match) - It was played either during player introductions or right after the match happened (I'm 50% sure it was after the match was over but not entirely) - It was a much slower-paced song comparatively speaking in relation to normal up-beat tempo songs - The music sounded very, very, very much like Alice In Chains - The singer sounded almost exactly like Layne Staley from Alice In Chains - During the chorus the lyrics sounded like a drawn-out "I" or "Die" or "Fire" or something that sounded like that (it is not the song by Blindstone - New Direction) - The song was very similar in tempo and in melody to an Alice In Chains song called "Grind" which you can listen to here:

I also was trying very hard to hear any recognizable lyric to Google Search for but the vocalist was hard to hear in the background. Going out on a limb here, but I think the song you might be referring to is actually Alice in Chains' new single "Stone" ?? New singer obviously, but similar sound.
Twothirteen you are the man! I am embarrassed being such a HUGE Alice In Chains fan that I didn't even stop think it could be them haha. It didn't even register in my small brain that it could have very well been Jerry Cantrell that I was hearing (although to be fair, I was going off of some of those "official" GSL / GSTL compilation lists that float around the net with every new season). Haha no problem, the only reason why I even know what the track is (I hope this isn't considered advertising) is due to the fact I use it in the introduction segment of my bi-weekly radio show. As far as the DnB remix of it, I have no clue where GSL have received it from, my guess is that it's either a specifically licensed version to them or someone made it just for the organization itself. Again, that's just an educated guess.

But I can't find anywhere a metal song, that sounds like a power ballad, and usually plays on the 'next match screen on code S. The chorus seems to be "No, nowhere to go, after all the pain is gone, just keep on mending", or something like that. Does anyone know the band's name? Thanks in advance.
