I could provide step-by-step instructions on how to download vods from twitch and join them, as well as providing the links for each Live on Three as they come out, but I don't know if that's okay here by the mods. If I get an okay from them, I'll do it. As a response to this post, because I don't know who to PM.

And then you guys would be on your own with converting it to MP3. I just play the sound from the video on my phone. MX Player has an option to just let it keep playing in the background, even if you go to another program or turn off your phone's screen.

But there are plenty of .flv to .mp3 converters out there, so you guys should be fine.

I love this idea of "broodwar level dominance". Like there was a player who just won every fucking thing for a year. There really wasn't. For the huge majority of these major bw winners they won like 2 MSLs in a row but didnt even make it past the ODT. Which i guess to compare it to something is that if there were 2 GSLs they won the one type and lose in code a in the other one (or didnt even make it to code a).

sAviOr was probably hailed as the most dominate ever during his heights. He only ever won 1 OSL. He did better in MSLs, but I feel like the dominance branding eminates from ProLeague. Casy won a starleague (dodged all p?

) but was never hailed a bw great. Flash is probably the worst example of my point as he really did win a shitload, but even he failed quite a bit.

I feel like what truly gave bw players their legendary status was ProLeague. These starleague players put a LOT of effort into PL, unless they were currently in semis of osl/msl or something. If you lost early in a starleague that didnt immediately mean you sucked. In fact it rather elevated the player who beat the "dominant one".

I'm ranting and probably not making the most sense, but this feels like nostalgic and/or ignorant information rather than an actual comparison whenever it's brought up when talking sc2.

People like July, Savior even Nada to some extend were not unbeatable. What people really miss I think is just that for the moment, or tournament, or even singe match, when they were ahead, they were ahead by a huge margin. Today, where almost every pro streams his strategies, the top level is much close, real time strategy games also get figured out faster, you can`t be ahead because you are the only one that knows how to hold an expansion anymore.

If you're like me and don't have time to sit down and watch the VOD or wrong time zone for watching live then I've pulled down an MP3 of Ep181 (can do the missing ones from #177 onwards if people want, but at the moment I'm settling for the latest/final)

I listen to this shit all the time while I'm on the road which is 60% of my work day so naturally I was sad panda that the mp3 drip feed went on hold

I am in the same boat as you, and LO3 used to be one of the better ways to get me through my workday, any of the older episodes would be greatly appreciated! I feel there are a lot of people that listen to the mp3s in place of the stream. It seems to me this thread slowed down a lot since the mp3 versions disappeared.

So I was trying to add them to the Internet Archive page where all the other episodes are but... couldn't figure out how to.

So anyway, here they are for those that asked. I re-ripped 181 because there was some nasty ass pops in there (some of you might have noticed). I also went non-lazy and tagged them properly so they'll fit into your Rezudox playlist or whatever.
