A vod should be up on twitch once the stream finishes(I think it still works this way.), and an MP3 should be available within 24 hours.

hopefully Valve fixes / improves CS:GO... coming from an old school CS and Quake fan it's a shame to see the community and scene in this state after a few years... 1.6 was in a good place.

I really enjoy playing CS:GO matchmaking with friends when I take breaks from Dota. It's not quite 1.6 but it's still CS. I think GO is a huge improvement over Source for sure (Source just felt so wrong I gave up on CS until a little while after GO came out and started enjoying it again). there have a been a few decent tournaments earlier this summer, just right now just seems a little stagnant... a lot of top EU teams disbanding or doing major reshuffling putting some doubt in their future. it also seemed like Valve wasn't doing that great of a job with a few patches there and listening to the community (seemed like they were putting all their eggs in the Dota basket) but now that Ti3 is over it looks like they learned a bit from the compendium thing and the latest GO patch at least makes it look like they want to "resuscitate" GO a bit (finally) and maybe find a way to drive more money towards bigger tournaments to give the top teams incentive to keep playing it. there's also a chance that GO becomes free to play, we'll see, it's curious. I think that'll be a great move. so yeah very recent events do make me a bit more optimistic for sure (and interesting that coL picked up a solid US team again. now I wonder if/when EG will... would be good for NA CS).

It is kind of sad though that this isn't capitalized on. Eastern Europe has always had and continues to have a massive following for 1.6, for obvious reasons: easy to grasp but hard to get good at, runs well on pretty much any machine, easy to pirate, easy to set up a server for, has LAN etc etc. I do wish Valve good luck with CS:GO though, it looks like they're heading in the right direction and have made some big improvements from the dreadfulness of CS:S. It's great that they seem to care about their community as well, unlike their TF2 team, but hey that's another discussion altogether...
