Too many protosses though for how poorly Korean protoss is doing (and too few Terran), but there's nothing I really want to rearrange. | ||

Hopefully I can see how my players turn out in the first couple weeks and possibly trade for aces who haven't done too well too soon. Main Team 2 BanbanssuWell. NHS essentially has him and San, and San was overpriced at 5. Banbanssu plays decently, but I know he'll be played every round. 5 GanZiGanZi. I feel like players perform differently in GSTL than they do in GSL, so I'm gonna give him a chance, because I know Cella will play him early, thus giving me an opportunity to gauge his gameplay. If he does well, I'll keep him because he performs well in GSTL anyway, but if he doesn't I'll try to get Naniwa/ThorZaIN. 4 GuMiho (captain)2nd best played on foU, and a sick record in GSTL, so I know he'll be played a lot, and win. Captain cuz I feel like he'll be really solid, and I like being able to trade my high value players in case of... anything. 2 ViOletNeeded a Zerg... Gave up Ace for him. :[ Hopefully he doesn't play too poorly. I feel like he has a chance to get played since MvP is such a small team, and they won't send out DRG till he's absolutely necessary. 4 NaDaWay too big of a NaDa fan too pass, and I feel that he's a steal @ 4 points. Amazingly consistent, and there's a pretty good chance of him getting played even on a solid team like oGs. He'll definitely be the go-to Terran. 3 RainBOwRainBOw seems to be shaky, but on a smaller team like StarTale, he should have a chance to prove himself. Not very expensive, and he definitely has potential. ST's go-to Terran, next to Bomber of course. 7 sC sC. The ace of fOu. Guaranteed play time, guaranteed wins. I felt he was the most consistent as well as most reasonably priced ace. MVP and NesTea kind of "compete" for play time, and MC has been... losing games he shouldn't be. 3 YounghwaOne of the few Protosses on IM, super solid in GSTL, we should see him get playtime unless NesTea or MVP pull their AKs out. 6 SlayerS Two time champ. + Show Spoiler [Lineups] + + Show Spoiler [Explanation] + My main is going to be a difficult choice; I picked Hero as captain evem though it broke my heart to not do a CELLA WALLA as captain; the possibility of him getting sent out with his recent performance has increased considerably; and he was the only decent 1pt along with oGsJ for the captainship. MMA is also given as my lead-off non-Captain pick. He's basically the rock upon which SlayerS can wipe other teams, and I feel that with Alicia as his backup, they'll earn A LOT of points, given the Winners' League format. Keen and ViOlet (damn it I miss BW Violet) are also good picks for team wins on MVP; they're cheap, and they'll get a lot of playing time. Same reason why I have MVP as my team-pick, it's to piggyback off streak wins by DRG even if I don't have him on main. July is a given for StarTale points, and because he's bound to win a game or two every time he's sent out. Same situation for HongUn and Prime as well; he's going to be sent out anyway, and might as well as invest on a relatively inexpensive but solid pick. Supernova is basically my 3 point risk; it depends on how well he does if he's worth the 3 points. I'm betting on Naniwa and Thorzain getting stomped hard, with Killer as my 5 pt anti. Winners' League is unforgiving for match-ups, Nani and Thorzain just won't cut it IMO for snipe preparation, and their team is going to be new at this, so they don't have line-up preparation experience. Killer's my 5 pter because I have nothing better to choose. | ||

If they do well, Genius will be used alot and should be able to take a couple wins a match  .9 MMA (captain) Nothing needs to be said. Won MLG and is the best Terran in the World imo.4 NaNiwa Is the best Foreigner Protoss right along with HuK. With him being on the F.U team, he should get play every matchup. I can see him taking games off just about anyone. Would have picked Thorzain, but he is alot better with preperation, where Naniwa is a more solid player.1 SocceR Pretty odd pick. I heard he just won a Major Warcraft Tournament and qualified for Code A. Has talent, and being on a small team he will most likely get a good amount of play.3 SuperNoVa Very good Terran. oGs seems to play him everymatchup, and he always seems to take 1 or 2 wins for them. He should be a solid pick.2 TheStC I picked StC on hype. Like I said earlier every GSTL someone always comes out and beasts, but it usually is a player that has been said to be amazing. StC is a very scary Terran that has not shown it yet. Here's hoping it is this GSTL  1 Vampire Here is the oddest pick of mine by far. I wanted to take a 1 point random noone has ever heard of and hope he randomly gets 3 or allkills a Team. Vampire is on my MVP style team. I think he could be played first and take a team down, although this is all theory crafting. I know NOTHING about him or his play lmao.4 MVP Could very much take it all. I took alot of MVP players throughout, I am gonna ride them. MVP Fighting!~ Anti Team 4 InCa I doubt to see him get any play time. 3 Kyrix A player I think is highly overated. He prob will get played, but will not win.6 Trickster I do like Trickster, and think he could be a scary force, but from past results it is likely he will not do anything. I had Marineking in my Anti before, but it is WAY to risky to do that. He usually kills people no matter what lmao. Thanks for reading. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + The no compromise team! Huk is captain because he is low value and is pretty clutch when it matters. He is also underrated and a bargain for 1 point! SC MC Polt are 3 aces who are strong in all matchups and will probably see alot of play. Weakness of this team is that there isnt a good spread of teams but winning is all that matters! Anti team + Show Spoiler + Average. SO average. If hyperdub was more expensive he would be here! | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Main Team 9 Bomber -S class player and will play a lot of games as Startale's Ace2 CoCa - seems like a pretty solid player and will get a lot of appearances as Zenex isnt exactly the most stacked team8 NesTea (captain) - its nestea man!2 Qxc- will get a lot of appearances in FXO and is capable of getting quite a few wins with korean practice imo7 sC - will get a lot of appearances as fou's ace and seems in pretty good shape lately3 SuperNoVa - in former GSTLs he got to play in nearly every match for oGs and is a very strong player for 3 points3 Twilight - high ladder ranking in korea and will play probably in every game as FXOs ace2 ViOlet - Code S Player, seems pretty solid and will play a lot for MVP, so it seems like a really good pick for 2 points0 FXOpen ESPORTS - didnt want to sacrifice any points for a team like FOX United, Hoseo etc., and i think FXO will at least pickup a few wins Anti Team 5 Moon - will play a lot, due to FOX small lineup and isn't up there with the best4 Squirtle - played quite often in former GSTLs and is quite a bit behind the elite as well6 Trickster one of the most overrated players imo, havent seen something amazing out of him since beta | ||

2 Ace Ace is solid, he's two points, and he's capable of winning more than one game every time he's sent out. You can't go wrong picking him.5 Alicia Alicia is a bit more expensive than I'd like but he should still be a good investment. He's going to be sent out after Taeja/Ganzi and will usually get at least one win, if not more.1 Hero (captain) There's been some decent hype about this guy. Huk says he's good, he qualified for Code A, and he's one freakin' point. Oh, and he knocked out DRG on his path into the GSL. Hero seems like an ideal candidate to start a match, so he'll see play and sometimes he'll get wins.1 HuK Huk is in Code S. He's one point, he's good, and he's performing sick good at Dreamhack. If you've watched his stream, you know he's capable of some real impressive play. I'm worried he won't be sent out often, though; and if you stick with him as the rounds go by it may be hard to trade him away. I wouldn't blame you for picking someone else, even at this bargain price. If Huk had a more comfortable position on a team, he'd be worth 2-3 points at least, so I'll gladly take a risk on this one.3 Keen He's played some really impressive games, and he's priced to deliver good ROI. It's also good to diversify your investments, and he's a solid choice among the MVP lineup: good chance of being sent out, good chance of winning, low price, an A+ investment.8 LosirA Losira will be played every time, and he'll usually win. He's capable of an all-kill, he's guaranteed to come out, he's worth it.8 MarineKing Everything I said about Lozira should be said about Marineking. Don't double up on aces from the same team because they'll cannibalize each others wins; this should be a good split.2 Taeja This guy came outta' nowhere and got a ton of kills. He's a steal at two points, and he has a high likelihood of playing a lot of matches.6 SlayerS I'm a little less confident in Slayers this go around, but they are probably still the best team. They have the most rigorous training schedule, they've got Boxer to deliver a rousing battle speech, and they have a winning track record. It's a safe bet. Anti Team 4 FruitDealer This guy's been pretty underwhelming since stealing a victory from TOP with that ultralisk splash bug. (yea i'm bitter) FD is capable of just dying to almost any timing attack. He's no longer a threat.4 InCa If he snipes another protoss, there's still a good chance of him losing the next match. Moreover OGS has a lot of great protosses, which makes Inca that much less likely to be sent out.5 Moon I expect him to see play often, and to lose often. His recent success? He's a big fish dropped into a shallow pool. Korea is full of sharks just waiting to steal his ladder points. | ||

kimchitroopers Main Team 3 Anyproanypro very good. genius timings, perfect execution, good decision making. he only loses to s-class players, cuz he lacks the mojo, but he's worth at least 6 e-sports dollars imo, so buying him for 3 was ez call 4 FruitDealereveryone thinks FD is now a scrub cuz they're still hyped from gsl open season 1 and cuz he keeps failing allins in gsl. but thing is, he's having decent results lately, he's not lost yet the gosu aura, he's always seen as a serious contender, and i can feel the guy will start to rip nerds apart sooner or later, when his sadistic instinct wakes up. also, the fact that he's a drunkie, that he comes half the times wasted to his pro televised games, that he has the most awesome hair ever, that he's the most unpredictable and unstable progamer in the scene, and specially, the fact that he was strong enough to end his career to help his mother in the goddamn fruit shop makes me empathize with him and become an everlasting supporter of him, even if he was 0-15. 2 Junwii love losers with sad faces. i have a fascination for failed men. and no matter how much he loses, he seems to retain the praise and the confidence from the coach of IM. and he's also very good looking, which adds more drama to his sad story. plus, while i haven't seen a lot of his play, the few ive seen was pretty decent and interesting. however, this is mostly a pick from heart rather than head. (tbh he was my last choice, had no more points to choose someone better, and like him better than ace, tassadar or hero) 9 MVP (captain)he's the best player in the world along with MC and nestea. the difference between him and the other two is that, while MC's style is too characteristic, which leads to him getting sniped too often in team leagues, and while nestea has the best gray matter out there, but a mechanics abusing play can throw him down, as we've seen many times in gsl, MVP has actually no flaws. when he loses it's cuz he didn't play his best, rather than losing against the opponent's tricks or strats. perfect micro, macro, mechanics, builds, decision making, stress management, tactics, strategies... if i were an automaton 2000, i'd certainly choose him as a guardian. extra props for being humble, friendly and specially, for playing for dat money cuz of him coming from a very poor background. 8 Polteveryone's jumping into the polt wagon nowadays, but i swore loyalty to him since i first saw him taking out MC in gsl open season 1 ro64. MC was back then #1 in kr ladder and polt 2-0'd him with very clever play. even if he's went through slumps, i never doubted him. when he looked like he was totally gone from the scene, i saw how he came back from a certain death in a game against trickster with just micro. he literally microed his way back into victory. that was fkin pimpin. when artosis started to notice this guy was good, kicking MC out of gsl (again), i wasn't seeing but the same wit i've always seen from him since the very beginning, just better executed. and when ppl kept counting him out of gsl st, i was certain he would win, even against mma. yes, i might be a hipster nerd, but i like better to call myself a faithful nerd, a proud one. 2 PuMapuma keeps shitting on his pants in televised matches and giving off the games after making his opponents look like noobs, but this guy is fucking genius. every move of him is different than the other's, and his unstable attitude does nothing but make me feel more sympathetic towards him. 3 SuperNoVasupernova is probably the ugliest guy in proscene, but also one of the most gifted. while he's cotinuously sent against terrans, he has that amazing tvp and tvz that is off the charts. having one of the best tvp and tvz in the world for just 3 e-sports dollars is a great deal. 2 ViOletkid always gets to play, looks very awake, and has a very dynamic zerg playstyle, balancing perfectly between those damn boring passive dronemakers and those even worse rushers and busters. he's in code s btw! and just for 2 e-sports dollars. 3 Team SCV Life tbh i wanted to choose IM, which are my favourites to win... but since i ran out of esports money, my choice was TSL. while tsl lacks a true ace, a hitter, they have a very solid roster, where almost all players are more than 2k ELO and feature in code s. they've been disappointing since forever, but i believe they have to hit hard sooner than later, specially now that they don't have the pressure of being one of the candidates for the trophy. and most importantly: i believe in coach lee, the best goalkeeper from south korea Anti Team 5 GuineaPigbeing random is a good enough reason to choose him. not only that, he got lucky last tsl and got protoss 3/4 of the times, using builds he did practice enough when he played only toss. the few times he didn't get toss he got zerg, and guess what he did: yes, baneling bust. he has fair enough micro, and decent decision making, as well as a good mentality, but among the 5 esports dollars players, he was clearly the worse imo 4 GuMihowhile he was pretty succesful in last gstl, specially build-wise, he just looked bland, losing games he shouldnt have lost. he lacks the star sense and the pimp play when the time has come, and i'm also against (personal bias) these young kids like him and leenock. their minds are just too young to approach the game in a solid, thoughtful way. 4 Minguy is pretty good, but he lacks killing people. he just keeps on expanding and producing while not rlly doing damage, until he's overrun by more powerful units in the end. i don't know, he's very good and all that, i just don't like him and his play. for 4 esports dollars it is worth ditching him. :7 | ||

I decided on not putting in like, a billion oGs members and instead keeping a good spread when it comes to teams (and also races). There's so many solid korean terrans but the good ones are so high up .-. Team dreamRomeo - I mean, dR is such a cool tag. Also my name is asking for a reference. Main Team + Show Spoiler + 9 MC (captain) - I play protoss, MC is just, in the words of day9, immaculate. My hero. Its hard not to have him. 7 sC - Terrans.  . He's solid as hell and I really like him. The only fOu member i actually like.4 Maka - Easily one of my favorite terrans. It used to be because he was really bad (kinda still) but I like him, a lot. Also he's on Prime, and while they do have MKP and Polt, maka still poses a pretty good threat and a good chance of him getting played.4 Min - Okay I needed a slayers player too, and all of their terrans not named taeja were too expensive. ><. My team also needed a zerg and Min's made me like watching him play, which is hard cause i dislike zerg. maybe i just dislike everyone not protoss .2 qxc - favorite pro gamer. ever. EVER. he's made me really like watching sc2, not so much playing sc2 but qxc was one of the reasons i really started watching the pro scene. I never stopped believing even though he went to eu .2 Ace - I love StarTale. A lot. If oGs hadn't stolen me really early on I would have ST as my team . Alas, I needed to have one of their players, and Ace (aka mr. koreans own white dudes) was the most economical, safe choice. 1 Hero - I was running out of points cause i decided on MC and sC ><. thats like half my points man. Hero's been played by oGs as their starter for all of GSTL May. He beat DRG to get into code A. He did that awesome archon zealot thing and killed genius. I like him.2 ViOlet - Again out of money. 1 more zerg can't hurt, and i dont have anyone in mvp... Okay violet go. He's code S, and like min i like his play.5 Old GenerationS - Got to be my favorite team. Im sorry ST, but oGs made me really follow korean sc2 (has nothing to do with the TL partnership i swear!)
