I'm looking to "get more and more competitive" as well, but I don't have a mediocre youtube casting career that's loved by a ton of people who don't mind inability to analyze the game. Pretty soon we'll see TotalBiscuit on a team as well. I can understand Painuser because he has a history being a solid performer when he practices, but you can find much better talent that wants it and deserves it more than HDstarcraft. This is similarly frustrating to root's B team getting signed by complexity. They sign root and lose their only 2 decent players in the process. Glad we get to see more of catz not showing up to MLG games under a different tag. Lots of bad players getting signed because they're popular names and not because they actually deserve it. Good luck to Painuser though, would love to see him compete and do well again. Jealous much ? If having multiple hundred thousand subscribers is so easy casting SC2, why are only a handful of guys at this level ? Calling him mediocre tells me more about you than about him, imho.

I find it ridiculous that he "quit" NASL and didn't show up for many of his games and now he wants to get back into it? Pretty flaky.

Great to see HD and Painuser in a team with people to work with, I hope a team can sign HuskyStarCraft into it as well as their caster or something.

Like I said we can just look to the future; however, we are all human and capable of changing our minds. That's a good thing! The ability to have a free will hehe. Either way when he had been talking on ITG, this hadn't been talked about yet. PainUsers dedication to this team is already evident from day 1 and I hope we can all just wish him success.

They have amazing potential and PainUser has already shown what he can do when he truly sits down to practice. Hopefully it can continue! You can't juggle both, just look at Artosis. When he streams and commentates you get a glimpse into his deep understanding of the game. His reactions are always perfect. However, as the games go further into the late-game you can just see his mechanics failing him as he begins floating 2k+ mins and simply being unable to keep up in that aspect. Or you can look at Polt and his struggling in the GSL while he was juggling university and SC2, then his total domination once he was able to commit 100%. You can't have other commitments if you want to play SC2 at the highest level.

Though, I suppose it could backfire if they perform poorly. But any publicity is better than no publicity. Congrats and good luck.

However, if HD decides to keep more along the side of casting, that's great too - because he'll be able to stick to casting more of VP games, learn more from the team, and start offering casts with more analysis. Maybe even get some of the players as co-casters to cast their own games - that way we can get true insight into their play. Looking forward to this!
