Do you think that he is not good against Zerg? He beat FruitDealer in the TSL and IdrA at MLG.

I personally think ThorZain will not be doing that good in Korea, however I think Nani has big chances of success though.

Have you seen how ThorZain plays? If so, what about his play makes you doubt him?
I'm genuinely curious.

Can you explain yourself? What makes you doubt Thorzain?

Thorzain is undoubtly a very good player. But he is really deadily when he has time to prepare for an opponent. So I think he'll do better in Code A, than in the GSTL.

O M G! Good luck to them both.

Didn't he say at MLG that he didn't think that was true? I know he didn't place super high but he beat some good players at Columbus.

He also lost to Ret (and some claim that Idra wasn't trying, but who knows if this is true). Thorzain is very good in all matchups, but by far his best is TvP, I think TvZ is his worst.

Well even MMA hasn't managed to get into Code S yet, and MMA is considerably better than Thorzain.
If Thorzain and Naniwa make Code S they will have done well for themselves, I wouldn't bank of either of them doing so.

Thoughts on who the 3rd guy is? appar slush turned it down. maybe major? i doubt machine will.

ThorZain has a great chance to make it. gl to him

He also gave a pretty god damn good excuse for not doing all that well at columbus (he still kicked ass though).. He couldn't leave the place, as the scheduling was completely random and could be off with as much as an hour. He had to stick around and eat whatever came close.. That's not a good tournament environment if you're there for 3 days. It was worse as he was in the open bracket. I think Naniwa said he had the same problem last MLG and he had to get someone fetch him burgers and whatnot cuz he couldn't go away. I think they both will do amazingly well at GSL as they've both probably improved even more since TSL. I'm fucking pumped!

I'm excited for Naniwa! He's always been talking about competing in Korea - he's just one of those guys who wants to play with the best

Not strange, just poorly executed

Also nice to see some wc3 players together! SaSe is joining FOX as well i heard, so with SaSe Moon Lyn SocceR ThorZaIN and NaNiwa, they are ALL ex wc3 players! And yes i know pretty much every other team is 100% BW, but this is exciting for me coming from wc3 : D

Either way, best of luck to both players : D He was 9th. The 5th foreigner. MMA LoSirA MC IdrA SLush NaNiwa Ret Moon ThorZaIN HayprO Fenix July Sjow Sheth Machine MajOr KawaiiRice CrunCher Tyler SeleCT KiWiKaKi iNcontroL Drewbie ViBe mOoNan qxc Gretorp TLO Agh Axslav Namhcir MorroW http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2011_MLG_Pro_Circuit/ColumbusSince IdrA and Ret probably said no, first glance would be Slush to Code A (dunno whats going on with him leaving root) then Fenix, Sjow, Sheth, Machine, Major, KawaiiRice, etc. I'd actually like Sheth to take the spot, since he's going to korea for the GSTL as well.
Thanks for clearing that up. As for Slush, he said he wouldn't be going to Code A
