"ZvT I feel a tad uncomfortable in the early game because in certain positions on certain maps it can be very difficult scouting exactly what the terran is up to. In those scenarios you're forced to resort to guessing which often leads to you falling behind in a potential macro game or simply outright dying to an early game cheese."

terrans do love their free wins

morrow you said it requires fantastic micro to get blink stalkers away from baneling drops. Can you give a brief description of how that micro should work? Do you blink back while splitting?

What? MorroW plays zerg man..
Look at the MLG replay pack of Naniwa vs Moon to see how it's done otherwise. Man that guy's a baller. Moon did alot of baneling drops and they were super ineffective

I guess terrans could just let zergs macro up freely. Zergs do love their free wins.

i guess that massive, bold line between cheesing and letting someone macro freely doesn't exist after all. what a shame

Great interview. As a MUCH lower level player i feel its frustrating having so few offensive options early on, while once I get access to faster overlords and drops things just gets so much more fun

By the way, the interview looks much better in english. You really polished up his language

Not to take anything away from Naniwa but Moon was horrible with his drops. He engaged with his ovies way before his main army so Naniwa could just easly pick the ovies off before he managed to drop the banelings, and without loosing any stalkers.

I don't think moon micro'd incredibly well or anything, but naniwa really made it difficult.

He'd kite the ovies with his stalkers back to his third and then right at the last second he would make a ff wall blocking the roaches and then he moved his colossi to the very back and spread his stalkers. It was beautiful imo. Moon couldn't retreat his overlords because the ff blockade was so clutch that the roaches were practically right up against his army and the ovies were already about to start dropping.

Morrow is right about units to hold a location. I really miss the lurker for that. Would be super nice to have the lurker back, able to climb up and down cliffs like a colossus.

Excuse because I'm a CS noob, but isn't Ukraine the most dominant country in CS right now? With Na'vi or whatever

Yes.. Ukraine with their one good CS team completely dominates the scene now.....
Meanwhile, sweden has 3 ultra-elite teams + alot more almost-elite ones.

Very interesting interview
on a side note, I expected morrow to go further in MLG. His loss was surprising

Morrow, the inventor of mass reapers... Sometimes his thoughts on balance concern me, but I do like what he has posted in regaurd to his current race: zerg. I agree with most everything.. yay
