Can't Rakaka try to proofread their pieces before they publish them? Horrible language all over, looks like an IM conversation between two buddies.

Yes I think we're the best outside of korea. Ukraine is also good.

Excuse because I'm a CS noob, but isn't Ukraine the most dominant country in CS right now? With Na'vi or whatever

While Na'Vi is argueably the best team in CS 1.6 right now, team 2, 3 and 4 are all Swedish. I still think its fair to say Sweden is the better country overall in CS 1.6 (Fnatic, SK Gaming, Lions)

OT:

Morrows answers are so well thought out, really nice to read em. The way he approaches things and his thought process always amaze me

wut. fnatic and lions are far from 3 and 4, I wouldn't put SK at 2 yet either.

And Morrow is pretty much the only good foreign Zerg not living in Korea (besides Idra) so I hope he continues to improve.

You're like 2 months behind if you think this...

If you think about it, Nerchio, Lalush, Stephano did nothing remarkable globally so far. It's only natural that Americans in general don't know about them yet. Hope they will participate more in big events
Nice interview by Morrow! He was very unlucky to end up against Fenix, who has very good TvZ and Vibe at MLG.

Sen is clearly on par or even ahead of morrow and idra. Though on an overall basis I would give idra and sen both a slight lead over morrow.

"I think terran has fundamental problems in the early game in a luck based way that patches won't be able to correct any time soon. I won't go into detail"

i'm quite intrigued by this. i've always thought of terran as having lots of decent and safe options in the early game and the fewest ways to just die in some weird way. am i wrong or missing something?

Glad people are acknowledging Terran being kinda UP in macro games, and kinda of a coin flip. We've been saying this for ages.

Zerg is a very defensive race

there's the problem with Zerg right there.... the race that should be the "offensive aggressive one" just isnt...

great read though

You can play safe, but that will some times put you behind. LIke vs toss who goes for a relatively early expand and has quite a few sentries. You kind of need to build like 4-5 bunkers oyur self, because 6-7 gate is so powerfull. But this will put you quite a bit behind vs robo builds. IMO toss dont have these situations vs terran, as terran dont have any strong 2 base timing attacks vs toss. Toss though have quite a few and can be very difficult to hold.

The problem against zerg is knowing when to attack, and how to proceed is often very luck-based. I mean, knowing whether the zerg stopped droning at 40, or is going to drone to 70 is very hard, and if you dont put pressure on the zerg you will be far behind. However if you do put pressure, you will some times just get owned.

IMO the problems of terran would be fixed by giving terran a stronger late game. This means that terran dont have to kill zerg and protoss (or at least get a huge advantage through the midgame play) in order to beat them.

sweden was dominant in cs since 1999-2000 and when old timers finally washed up other suprising countries picked their 5 best players and started to hold first place for some time (poland/ukraine etc), but even if Sweden dont have 1st spot its still biggest/best cs country.

basically cs.1.5 and lower = sweden 1.6 from 2005-2006 till now different countries

US were good only in 2001-2002 when x3/3d were a force to reckon with. (arguably best match ever X3 vs NiP 2001 CPL winter final)

koreans were only good aimers(actually godly not good), their team play /strategy/ mind games lacked but maybe because of dominant starcraft culture

May contain errors as i played actively from 2003.

the best part of interview was certainly morrows opinion on the lack of hold position units in zerg arsenal, not that it wasnt previously stated by many gamers but morrow is always speaking so eloquently about new ideas.

Yes thank you for noticing. I was getting more and more steamy as I read through the Swedish article. God damn that's blashpemously bad spelling.

Nice interview otherwise however. I'm very interested in MorroW's future in SC2.
