It's actually more of a way to reaffirm the statement. If someone asks me "Are you from Idaho?" I can respond "From Meridian!" because the yes is already implied. I don't know why you're going on some trip about efame.

Haha...Didn't find it that funny, like the whole "Oh I have to check my phone, it seems you have been banned from this interview for 15 seconds..." thing was a bit lame. But hey, I realise it wasn't a stand up comedy act, at least it was good to see a relaxed interview for something different.
Definitely down for more relaxed interviews like that in the future, but when you're writing down the questions, maybe leave out some of that sort of stuff. meh, /shrug. Most people found it hilarious so you're doing something right.
