Solely my opinion but i feel the american scene possibly north and south is weak at the moment in terms of player depth. Select is not even from the continent i just put him in with them to beef it out and partly due to him staying there. Fenix has also been laddering on EU and doing fairly well. Does anyone know how the chinese player Loner is getting on, to my knowledge he has dropped off the face of the earth after some impressive performances early on. Be nice to see him come back and possibly 1-2 other chinese stars. If we want to grow the game we need to involve them more, heres hoping and intel extreme masters event happens over there.

(i guess the finals of the TSL but he hasnt shown results at a weekend lan where you play multiple games/ cant prepare for everything) I think he has the potential to be a great player but i dont think just because he won the TSL it means he is the greatest player right now (he is awesome dont get me wrong). I will wait for further results before i start praising him though a good showing at dreamhack would defenetly help. Lots of players have gone on to win a tournament and then show sub par results/ never really acheive anything. So we will have to wait and see weather he is a 1 hit wonder or if he actually has what it takes to be a western bonjwa ^^

I would agree with you as well. He is an amazing player of course, one of the best Terran's outside of Korea but consistent games in short succession need to be shown before we say he is THE best which a few are saying already about him and he would probably agree. I am sure the pressure of a huge LAN such as Dreamhack is enough to tilt some players so we'll see if he can manage the big stage. I hope he can.

Hes widely considered the best foreign player yet i fail to see results to confirm it. edit: I do think Thorzain is awesome, but hes not better than MC or Nani. 1st MLG DC 1st IPL 2nd IEM Cologne GSL January Ro8 3rd Dreamhack Invitational GSL Open 2 Ro16 7th MLG Dallas. He's just had so much more consistancy than Thorzain throughout where as Thorzain basically won and played brilliantly in TSL having done little before and so far not much after it. TSL just ended like a week ago, what else do you want him to achieve during such a short time? Since his TSL success he played in the Road to Korea where he lost to Mover (2-0), Lalush (2-1) and Sase (2-0) meaning he didn't make it out of the group stage. He also played in WCG Sweden and didn't qualify as he was too sick to play. He also lost 2-0 to Sase again in the EG Masters Cup this week. I'm not saying he's a bad player, he's clearly a good player but he's not the best foreigner, he's not even the best in Europe or the best in Sweden. i'm sure he lost in the road to korea because he was preparing for TSL. as you said he didnt play wcg sweden because he was sick He lost to Sase who is like top3 player in Sweden, no big deal really. i laugh at everyone who says he's overrated because he can't win a 1day tournament. So, can YOU beat MC if you had 2 weeks to prepare? No. a month? no. a year? probably not thorzain is fucking sick player that excels strategy-wise but also has great mechanics. shut up haters. Thorzain's a good player, I'm not suggesting he's not. But he's not as good as MC and still has a lot to prove. He beats MC, Kas, Naniwa in bo7s and he still has a lot to prove? Thorzain is a good terran, but he's definitely not the best. He might be one of the best strategizers and game planners when given ideal conditions, but on the more regular cup conditions, he hasn't had any major victories. One match proves nothing. I'm not saying he's a bad player, but when people judge player's skill and performance based on single matches, they're just doing it wrong. Oh yeah, I forgot. Inca is better than NaDa. LOOLLL
