Since his TSL success he played in the Road to Korea where he lost to Mover (2-0), Lalush (2-1) and Sase (2-0) meaning he didn't make it out of the group stage. He also played in WCG Sweden and didn't qualify as he was too sick to play. He also lost 2-0 to Sase again in the EG Masters Cup this week. I'm not saying he's a bad player, he's clearly a good player but he's not the best foreigner, he's not even the best in Europe or the best in Sweden. i'm sure he lost in the road to korea because he was preparing for TSL. as you said he didnt play wcg sweden because he was sick He lost to Sase who is like top3 player in Sweden, no big deal really.
i laugh at everyone who says he's overrated because he can't win a 1day tournament. So, can YOU beat MC if you had 2 weeks to prepare? No. a month? no. a year? probably not
thorzain is fucking sick player that excels strategy-wise but also has great mechanics. shut up haters.

Furthermore, he take a HUGE advantage from long prep with builds etc, not THAT good in a cup system. Just my opinion
Other players have just as much right to take that "huge" advantage and prep builds, it's how tournaments works, if people don't do it then that's their fault and ThorZain was simply smarter.

Thorzain's a good player, I'm not suggesting he's not. But he's not as good as MC and still has a lot to prove.

If Dreamhack wants to maximize viewers they shoudl really invite more from the US. I'm sure the last spots are for Americans though.

There are so many good players! I'm glad to see Brat_OK will be able to make it (at least I hope so.. D and I hope he does well... but there are so many good players there who I hope do well, so..... :-/

Its a shame to not invite more talented players though dont you think? Thats my opinion. I would say Idra, Kiwi and Huk only. Select i class as korean.

That doesn´t prove that he is the best foreigner. Jinro has done better than Idra in GSL and won an MLG, Naniwa dominated the last MLG and got second in TSL. I dont think anyone has done enough to be considered the best foreigner, Idra is among the best but he has to do alot more to be widely considered the best foreigner.
If any player goes and wins both MLG and Dreamhack then they would probably be widely considered the best but it really takes something extreme like that to be crowned the best.

I hope they get Select as Na invite

Me too! BRAT_OK will have as good of a shot as anyone to win this LAN assuming he can obtain a visa. Otherwise, MC & White-Ra are the favorites. I can't wait until the player list is fully announced and finalized, because this should be one of the most exciting tourneys of the year.

The NA players I think should be invited: Idra, Select, Kiwikaki, Huk (if he isnt busy with GSL).
I don't think there are other NA players who would be a strong contender here.
