Someone told me they just got promoted on the NA server after a win. Looks like it's fixed -- will have to try it out myself.

Your MMR may not be stable enough for promotion. You may be in between Masters and Diamond with a very erratic Rating, so BNet is waiting for your MMR to stabilize. Hope you get into Masters!

I'm not sure about that, our GrandMaster League counts 188 people and there has been no promotion in GM league since today.

Just played 1 game in 1v1 and 4v4 (currently rank 1 daimond in both) and won and still didnt get promoted (and the 4v4 game was with masters/high masters and 1 top 5 daimond) so it dosent seem to be fixed yet (EU)

This is such a troll. What on earth happened to GM league that made Blizzard think it was a good idea to lock everything. At least NA is unlocked now apparently so the rest of the leagues should soon follow suit. Still though, I wonder what exactly happened...
