You can have a MMR of an average Gold Player and being in GM (if you had a top 200 MMR when Season 2 came out). | ||

You're right, but all of that's moot for the next season, because at the start of every season GM membership is recalculated. Basically, once you're in GM, you can rest on your laurels... until the next season. | ||

I had around 80% win rate against gold players for the last few days and start playing against high gold and low plat. I was silver btw. So it's a bit weird that I had to beat some plat in order to reach gold | ||
